I would still rather have Lambert any day of the week. Pelle can go for 15m. Get miroslav Klose in on loan while we try and sign a mobile and strong Lukaku type.

Start Morgan and Vic and keep Mane central up with whoever. Do this and we win i reckon. Massive three points.

My instinct reaction was to think of Rogers, his stupid troll face and the very real ill feeling i seem to have nurtured for Liverpool since last season. Forster, Clyne, Gardos, Font, Targett, Reed, Cork, JWP, Elia, Isgrove, Pelle Keep Davis as fresh as can be at the moment - need him in the league. Will be tough - a rejuvenated and hungry crystal palace with gayle, bolasie and zaha firing well.

So proud of the Newcastle win. With arguably our finest three out with injury, the team did brilliantly and demonstrated the resilience in the Koeman system. Long header for Elia second was a high jump spectacular.

The belief and momentum is going there. Koeman is a motivator and he has proven to be an astute tactician. The talent is there. I think we are far stronger mentally, than Arsenal, Tottenham and Utd this season. The issue we have, imo, is hamstrings. If we can keep Wanpanzer, and Alderwerock and also Schenidergun'shamstrings intact, we are undoubtedly in with a shout.

Agree with the team except for Elia. I think at this early stage of his saints career, and given we are away to Newcastle with Shneiderwinner, Wantank and Aldewierboss out, Long might be better to defend from the front. Elia to come on second half without pressure and to destroy Newcastle's fullbacks.

Got to say I was impressed with Reed and given that Schneidergun and Wanyama are out for a few weeks, we will need him more than ever. Reed in for Newcastle game with Davis and JWP/Cork.
