I would rather see any random player than Lemina, he has had a few chances and been poor every game, no improvement at all, rather have a 50 / 50 chance of a good performance than a 5 / 10 % chances of a good game from Leminam probs get a better performance from forster playing cm than Lemina.

take it you did not watch the game if you thought JWP did nothing yesterday but take 3 corners and a few free kicks. Manager was pleased with his performance, that's all that matters, Same cant be said for some others who he must be starting to run out of patients with eg Lemina as he clearly did not think much of his performance dragging him off for Redmond after just 45 min!. clearly thought JWP was better for the team than Lemina against City, cause at the time JWP was playing right wing and Lemina central mid, so would have made more sense to remove JWP for Redmond. Against the champions? yes, I mean Liverpool just handed Spurs a really good hiding and they are favs for the title like City and Liverpool, so yes, just losing by 2 goals is not bad and a decent Performance against a team that has just lost two shocking games and had some thing to prove to keep the title alive. How can a player who has played 19 games this season not be match fit, he is fit, nothing wrong with him, just very inconstant and don't like to play in tough games, more suited to Italy I think.

Good game, best team won, any one thinking we should be beating city needs head checking, JWP had a good game, unlucky for the pen and the own goal, but did loads of defensive work with looking after the two young players playing behind him during the match and attacked well when a chance to attack opened up. Hoj was brill till his sending off, Austin tried but had no real service so cant comment on him really, would liked to have seen Redmond on for longer but he needs resting for more winnable games than against one of the best team in Europe. played ok till pen decision, but was not expecting to win anyway. roll on next game.

You cant push some one from behind, any challenge from behind is considered a foul unless you win the ball, so when you cant even reach the ball. Its a free kick / pen, not matter how soft..
