If SR won't Sack him, he should do the decent thing, admit he is out of ideas, stand down and let someone else have a pop!

The problem is though, when those players do make the step and reach their potential, they will be sold and we will back to square one again, how can you build a successful side with no cohesion?

The club not buying a decent striker has really let Ralph down, and to me he just looks like a guy counting down his contract, or even waiting to be paid off....

i have always thought, if the defence is doing its job, the keeper should have to do nothing....

I like Ralph, but i'm thinking now its time to change, i wonder if (as he has stated) plans to retire and the end of his contract means the desire and ambition are no longer there?

To be honest, "head of recruitment" is a over hyped job.... he reads scout reports, watches some obscure matches, and says "yeah he's pretty good"..... And the fact he failed to get us a decent striker, makes his leaving seem pretty, Meh.

maybe SR are clearing the decks, and looking for people who are going to be here for the long term....

i think he as the capability to be our lynchpin, and it looks like Hughes is instilled that belief in him, i realise that he has gone missing for large parts of the last two seasons! but ridiculous as it sounds, i think he just wants to be loved!! lol, on the flipside the worrying thing is if he nails on an outstanding season, we will struggle to keep him.......football is a *****!

first time in a couple of years i have seen the team look they are actually happy and all on the same mission! Hughes as done that....... he deserves a chance, and i think he will do well, we do need the "black Box" to double check his buys though....
