So, MOTD say we played well and the fans say we were ****e...
Roboze replied to swannymere's topic in The Saints
yeah we are fans, but some people here seem to believe they should management! get behing your team! we are a long way of the big teams, but we are getting there at ridiculous pace! COYS -
even neutral fans are now getting behind us! we were dead and buried at the start of the season in most peoples eyes, ok our lack of depth is probably now showing, but why wouldn't good players want to come here? we have given the biggest FU to the premier league i have ever seen! only the dons winning the fa cup is on par!
-
exactly! i think we have become an exciting prospect for young players wanting to make a name, and old timers looking for a last addition to their legacy, realise rules might prevent this now......but.......these are good times COYS!!

-
is there an echo in here?
-
Its a bit embarrasing how many *****y little whingers get here! other teams fans must come here and laugh their socks off!! Man up girlies!
-
isn't it just cool being linked to all these quality players? good times
-
yeah we need j'rod back.......please god
-
excatly Pedro, so we shoukld get off his case and let him find his form, people here seem to quick to get the daggers out! support your team, dont try and destroy it, we are fans not management!

i'm merely looking for a reason a player that has shown he can score hasn't scored for us for a long long time now?
-
a goal against england would still show he can net against a pretty good side? are you german?
-
Scoring for Italy seems to be pretty easy for him, so why has scoring for us become a problem? is he being marked out of games? or has our style changed to a way that isn't working for him?
-
no, i'm just saying that alot of people act like loan players are Saints and seem to be utterly suprised by the fact the player may end up elsewhere, at the end of the day toby's future is beyond our control. hope he does stay though:)
-
:Bertrand wanted to stay............
-
its that time of year again, maybr Lovrens head is already somewhere else.........
-
this is the problem with loanees, if they play well everyone shows interest and you have little chance of keeping hold of them, if he wants to go, then go! we will replace, simples!
-
my point was why would anyone pick Celtic over us? unless they want an easy ride.... i wouls rather join a club that was trying to re-write the history of football, then a club that always kills its league because they have a bit of cash and the others don't! same reason as if i was a footballer i wouldn't sign for city, chelsea etc, i could live on 20k a week! to many greedy people in this game...... i'd play for £1k a week shame i'm nearly 40 lol
-
if this article is to be believed (which is probably doubtfull) http://www.101greatgoals.com/blog/martin-odegaard-join-celtic-southampton-loan-season-fichajes/? why would you join Celtic? yes you'll probably win the league (if you didn't you really are rubbish!) you will probablt get champs league (without an ice creams chance in hell of winning it) so surely he should come here? go to Celtic and become a footnote in one of the most boring leagues in the world or come to saints and be a legend!

exactly this!!! ^^^

Saints considering Micah Richards if they lose Clyne in the summer
Roboze replied to Saint IQ's topic in The Saints
would rather spend the money on a talented youngster that we can make a massive load of cash on in couple of years....this is what we are doing at the moment, and this is the final stage before becoming a "big" club, at some point we will stop selling because we wont need to -
makes me wonder if it's really woy who picks the team.....
-
You got to look at it like he is the "Dad" of that team and everyone respects him, when he came on i thought he instanly took control of his area, and they all see him in training and he is mr "Southampton" it's a good prescence to hav on the pitch IMO, yes he's not FF but he's still good enough, thats why he's still there.
-
The Bloke hasn't played for ages! if he is told "your in for the rest of the season" which may well be his swan song, expect him to up his game! have a little faith we are Saints we march on!
-
at least it means we'll probably hold on to him, and he won't get tapped up by the "big" teams whilst on international duty.....shame for him though and plain bonkers!
-
Don't really understand the panic, Kelv hasn't been kept on for sentimental reasons! and Boruc was allowed to go on loan because management believed Kelv was still good enough enough to be backup, he has a solid defence in front of him, Management has shown time and again that they know what their doing, so lets all relax and enjoy the end to this amazing season.......not bad for relegation fodder are we!
