  1. Ding Ding, round 2
  2. No chance
  3. Matthew: Sorry folks, false alarm with good intent. The hearing has been delayed.
  4. Matthew: The hearing has started in the High Court.
  5. 19C WTF are you on about? Are you trying to turn the best thread of all time into a MLT slanging match?
  6. Nice comments from the Skates: "Comment From stu : For the first time in my life I hope there are two teams in Hampshire after today" "Comment From Chris : I had every intention of doing lots of work today..... but I don't think there is much chance. If Pompey go under it will be like losing a relative" (Bloody Imbreds)
  7. "Mark Jacob is not involved at the High Court today" - interesting... why on earth would you not invovlve your resident lawyer?
  8. Well it does include Cardiff fans too!
  9. That outcome can no longer occur. There are only three outcomes now: 1) Pompey get off without having to pay tax bill (0% chance) 2) Pompey get (say) 28 days to pay taxs (75% chance) 3) Pompey wound up immeadiately (25% chance)
  10. "Matthew: Cardiff City Fc chief Peter Ridsdale just walked into court for the case against his team. "
  11. On skate news feed: "Matthew: Our reporters are taking their seats in court. Around 80 people are in the room with only now room for people to stand. "
  12. And in other news... Portsmouth Council (Rhode Island USA) want to build a Skate park... (you couldn't make it up!) http://www.eastbayri.com/detail/133997.html
  13. Down to their last fan! http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/newsextra/Lone-Pompey-fan-makes-protest.6058953.jp
  14. Bet if the get it Storrie takes the credit for the 'success'...
  15. http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/Business/HMRC-To-Push-For-Portsnmouth-Football-Club-To-Be-Wound-Up-Over-Unpaid-Taxes/Article/201002215546018?lpos=Business_First_Buisness_Feature_Teaser_Region__0&lid=ARTICLE_15546018_HMRC_To_Push_For_Portsnmouth_Football_Club_To_Be_Wound_Up_Over_Unpaid_Taxes
  16. Sod the club, imagine the impact the court's decision will have on Fifa10! http://gamingtips.org.uk/gamingnews/10212
  17. If Chainrai is working with Gaydamak, then the 'loan' has already been collected and is currently tucked under a materess in Moscow. If Chainrai is working against Gaydamak, why throw good money after bad. Better to cut your loses and wind the company up to maximise the financial impact for Gaydamak...
  18. In other news Sunderland still lead, but down to 9 men David Meyler sent off after less than 2 mins on the pitch...
  19. If the club is put immeadiately into liquidation the game wouldn't go ahead. As Pompey haven't yet gone into Admin, and they haven't yet brokered a deal with HMRC, the likelihood that the game on Saturday will be cancelled has increased. However I still think it is about 90% likely to go ahead.
  20. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/premier_league/portsmouth/article7020877.ece Thought that the other three clubs due in court tomorrow had all settled their debts, but The Times seems to think that Cardiff, Southend and Hinckley all have outstanding HMRC debts... 4 clubs on the line, how many of them will still exist in 24 hours time?
  21. Pompey Online seems to have collapsed under the weight of all five of their fans accessing it at once... http://www.pompeyonline.com/forums/
  22. Think they've been in trouble before: 8662/2007 Yunus Patel & Zebun Patel (hope this isn't the same couple: http://archive.thisislancashire.co.uk/1996/11/19/840667.html )
  23. Someone's reading this thread me thinks... http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/football/4997352.Pompey_talks__stall_/
