  1. There were certainly a few eccentrics who were 'certain' Pompey would be wound up yesterday. The sensible majority have seen the probability of Pompey being wound up increase from about a 5% outside chance (last weekend), to the current situation, which I'd rate as about 75% likely that they will be liquidated next week. The outcome of the court case has significantly hastened their demise IMO.
  2. Come on Hull 10 minutes to grab an equaliser... (even if they only have 10 men left)

  4. Storrie is on the Quay right now, here's a Skate's summary: Edit... some other skate's have corrected the above:
  5. That's just nerves. They are well and truely up s*** creek, only a rich (and deranged) investor can save them now. At the start of the week being would up seemed a remote possibility, it's almost as if the Pompey directors are actively trying to get liquidated. I wonder if liquidation is actually an advantage to Gaydamak?
  6. [Filler alert] In the last 12 hours, this thread has had 1475 posts... which is 122.9 per hour, or just over 2 a minute... Good work
  7. (16,242 - 9000) = 7242 (7242 * 20) = £144,840 If they didn't pay any of the match day expenses, and if all of the non-season ticket fans bought the cheapest tickets, Pompey had almost £150K going through their hands from last nights game. How much of that could have been directed to buy off the creditors? It's certainly a large enough wedge of cash to buy off the Grosvenor debt.
  8. [stolen from a skate site] Think this might be the answer we were looking for... if I'm reading this right, they can't now legally put themselves into administration, that horse has bolted: http://www.insolvency.gov.uk/insolvencyprofessionandlegislation/legislation/uk/insolvencyact.pdf
  9. Does Ken still like us? Or will he still be smarting over his investment proposals being rejected? The little bit of detail about him on his Vantis page doesn't mention Saints at all...
  10. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=19579 Is this the way to liquidation, Pompey wiped from the face of our nation, even worse than relegation, And the Skates are f*cked again. Sha la la la la la la la, Sha la la la la la la la, Sha la la la la la la la, And the Skates are f*cked again.
  11. Sunderland game would have raised a few hundred thousand.
  12. The FA cup 4th round was on the 23rd/24th Jan, and replays were about 10 days later on 2nd/3rd Feb. Does this mean the 5th round replays will be held on 23rd/24th Feb? If so, what woudl happen if we drew with the Skates on Saturday (4-4, with a second half 4 goal comeback), and Pompey seize to exist before the replay?
  13. Bookies give odds for Pompey completing all of this season's fixtures... http://www.liveoddsandscores.com/news/press-releases/425208/pompey-52-not-to-see-out-200910-premier-league-fixtures
  14. Would replays be after the 19th?
  15. When's the next round's draw made? Immeadiately after the game? Or later? Won't that be the cut off point for us getting a by?

  17. Can the petition for admin in the next 9 days? Or is that now banned?
  18. Matthew: NINE days now! (bet the court wants to put them under on a Friday)
  19. On Saturday can we sing "In 4 days time you won't have a club"?
  20. Matthew: The case has been adjourned

  22. Good point!
  23. Matthew: HMRC have said the club is insolvent
  24. Matthew: Sky Sport are reporting Pompey have said there have been two serious offers for the club and pay off the debts.
  25. Still not begun again yet (according to 'The News')
