When has contracts meant anything,just means more money when a rich club comes in for them.

Yes totally agree,the post asks how we keep players and I am not sure we can.I believe we are attracting better players because they get a top six move if they do well with us but this will put us in a position where we will either be rebuilding or not succeeding

As a fan I am not interested how much they are sold for,I pay to watch the best team we can afford and not accepting first offers is not staying strong it's just to get more money.I do agree with what you are saying but if you don't pay big wages contracts are the only way to force players to stay but very much not ideal

Massive release clause and five year contracts and stay strong when teams come in,at the moment we seem to be a shop window to with bigger clubs and a bit of a soft touch
