I think he's injured.
-
Even Sven got a cheerier news thread and he actually is.
-
Maybe he could become the A Lot Less Drogba?
-
Thankfully Southgate couldn’t give a monkeys if you don’t play at all….!

Ng from Cardiff....crazy. KWP is so important to how we play, we'd be nuts to sell him full stop regardless of the fee. As already pointed out, he'll get a decent move in the summer if we don't go up and for similar money that we'd get now.

I get that totally - i bought that seat when i was just past my mid 20s and being near the away fans was really appealing as i'd not sampled it before. I guess i quite like the gloating highs, and being gloated at lows that go with being near them. Not sure i'd trust the catering employees even with a couple of slices of normal toast let alone the adding of both butter and marmite peanut butter so i'd happily move away! Being honest, i'm not sure i'd move anyway as i like the view etc where i am - and i'd like to think that it could work. I'm just a bit concerned that the end could become a library unless there's a decent group and concerted effort to make it a special home end.

Taking the wife and child to the game on Sunday - really quite looking forward to it.
-
I'm in the 2 or 3 rows nearest them, so i hope that answers your question. I just enjoy being near the away fans - i also like peanut butter marmite spread too on BUTTERED toast. Some things i just can't explain - so apologies to you and the hoards of others who you feel need your questions answered.

A good proportion of the songs have always been about the skates. Admittedly a couple are utter sh*te which i wouldn't sing if you paid me....but in recent years the skates feature a lot. That's not going to change. Agree regarding some being like Inbetweeners. But that's the newer generation of fans coming to the games. it's going to happen. I can't stand with how fickle the support is generally these days from some in the Northam. "Off with his head" one minute. "I f**king love this manager" a few weeks later. Maybe that's an element of the modern/younger fan.

I don't disagree in part - i just think it'd wear off pretty quickly and silence would reign.
-
So where is it better in the ground? Itchen North and some of the Kingsland are the only others where you hear anything.
-
Faire enough, i wasn't joking - you seriously think it'll be better having one end like that. We already have one end and two sides that are all saints fans. And the other end is pretty quiet, at least from where i'm sitting. Just don't see how it'll make any difference.
-
Amen to that. This is precisely why i bought my seat in the Northam....which i've had since day 1. I wanted to be next to the away fans for the atmosphere.

Saints 4-0 Sheffield Wednesday - Saturday 3pm

So easy on the eye today, KWP running with the ball is a thing of beauty. What a player, even more so in this league. Loving this team, fair play to all the work they’re clearly putting in on the training pitch. -
He and Luke Littler both love 3 shredded wheat for breakfast.
-
He has, but any other striker would have scored far more important goals for us this season given the same opportunities. Not remotely fussed if he leaves this window so long as we can replace.
-
Top striker, if he’s fit he’d batter this league. Couldn’t do any harm for half a season.
-
I saw him (and embarrassingly shook his hand) at the tip in Winchester of all places yesterday. Very nice chap, even waved to me as he drove off. Probably muttering something under his breath as he did so. Wife also embarrassed. All in all a successful trip.

It's weird. Having been back in the Championship and seeing us compete/win for the first time in years, i'm not sure if the reason i want us back in the Prem is more for the financial and long term stability and health of the football club itself, and to be able to see us sign exciting top level players (or try at least). I've not got to a single matchday (yet) and thought "if only we were playing Liverpool today.." So, after all that, i think i'm keener on us being in the Prem' for the good of the club itself and not so much for my own personal viewing pleasure. An added bonus is not getting wound up about being last on MOTD week in, week out - haven't watched a single minute of it this season.

I quote the great Andy Townsend. “Better”.
-
Leeds fans I’ve seen so far seem to be carrying an imaginary case under each arm. Concede first it’s going to get toxic. Need to score first to have any hope imo. Hard to see that happening though.
-
Maybe the starting eleven can try identifying as winners…
-
Trouble is, our players haven’t picked up the tools in the first place.
-
I don’t disagree at all, but I guess it makes the rare good times even sweeter. Let’s just hope we see some good times again.
