Is it because Davis doesn't ping long diagonal balls or score 10 goals a season that people think he's poor? He's had bad games, but the whole side have been guilty of that - for me he really is the unsung hero of the side when he plays well and he was excellent last night. I'm also not sure I've Targett play with such freedom either, mainly in the 1st half. Some of his balls in to the box were exceptional; great delivery for the first goal. Almost undefendable i'd say.

Honda would be an integra..l part of any PL side I'd imagine.

I was referring to his reputation as a destructive influence on the team because of his attitude - Roy Keane wasn't a particularly nice bloke either but was committed to the cause of winning and to his team. I'd have him in my team whether a nice bloke or not. I'm not so sure the same could be said of Shelvey; clearly a gifted player but not wanted where he is. Monk had issues with him last year I seem to remember, and he was dropped because of it.

Shelvey a good player, but am I not right in thinking he's not a particularly nice bloke (putting it mildly) and his arrogance levels are up there with Ronaldo's? Is he really someone we'd want in the dressing room?

Points wise we're as much in a relegation battle as we are battling for a Europa spot. Seems much more like mid-table (ish) mediocrity to me. When we're 1 or 2 points off 17th with 8-10 games left, I'll start considering it a relegation battle. Concerning? A little. For me, nothing more at this stage.

Surely the ONLY explanation for Reed not being involved is attitude or for disciplinary reasons. He looked (to me) completely at home in the few PL appearances last season, and I honestly felt he was the future of our midfield. All seems a bit bizarre really. He clearly has the talent, unless I'm blind.

Might sound a bit cynical, but coming out wouldn't harm the players chances of international honours (provided they're a top player of course) and would be an excellent PR exercise.

Response from customer services after their initial reply saying that the option to sell my seat was unavailable. I questioned why this was, given that only a few games are likely to sell out in a season and that this was one of the "benefits" of being a ST holder: Due to the lack of time in between when we had declared the Manchester United fixture 'Sold Out' and when it's played, we weren't able to offer this option as we would have liked. I have forwarded on your feedback to one of my Supervisors and they can get in touch with you if you need any more detail. Hopefully will get the option should I be away for the Watford home game....
