Agree completely. But we all know that if we stayed up but were still playing crap football they’d renew. By and large people don’t renew due to dropping into the championship, nothing to do with the quality of football.

I don’t blame anyone at all, it’s up to the individual to decide. What I don’t like is people jumping on the bandwagon and giving it the big “lifelong saints supporter” bull, and then when we get relegated saying it’s due to finances…..I’m sure they’d keep spending the ££ on tickets in the PL. I’d rather they just be honest and say “I’m not spending my weekends watching championship football”. Absolutely fair enough. They’ll find the money again when we go up, hence attendances going from 18-20k to 30k.

Thing is, we don't know if he's a goalscorer in this league.....two near misses with headers isn't something you'd want to hang your hat on even though he's not been provided with the right service. Doesn't look like he's going to create chances for himself, no real pace, not a poacher. So unless all we're going to do is fire in crosses for 90 mins (which i can't see), i can't see him making the sort of impact we need.

With a half decent goalscorer that would be possible. With no real goalscorers at all that won't be.....sadly. God, it's so fckuking annoying.

He's done pretty well compared to his predecessors, but this weekend was a "take the brakes off and go for it" fixture.....does he think we've got more games left than we actually have!? Just bizarre.

JWP has effectively been ruled out of the England squad for the foreseeable.....for Southgate to come out and say that he might have to look in the Championship for some positions is an insult to players like Tomori, March, JWP etc etc who could quite easily play in that England side. This may mean that he'll give us a year or so in the Championship to help us get back up. He's also very settled here - yes, might be clutching at straws but it's not beyond the realms of possibility. Can't see him going to a top 4 club and being a regular starter, and so is he likely to get into a team with European football? I'm rambling now....makes more sense in my head than written down....

I’m not sure there’s a worse set of away fans than Spurs. Terrible, quiet bunch. even at 3-1 not a peep. A point better than none.

Hopeful and optimistic that we’ll get a good result today but given I’ve felt that way before almost every game I suspect the hope will kill me once more.
