With Digne going to Villa I wouldn't be too opposed to Targett coming back home. LB is an area we need backup, he's definitely improved since his move there plus its always nice seeing local lads who are fans of the club in the squad
-
Perhaps Newcastle should've tried to get this game postponed...
-
They are one point ahead of us and we beat them just a few weeks ago. Didn't see much 'quality' from them in that game... Would definitely say that Broja has been better than Ings and Redmond better than Buendia this season
-
So they cried off our game so they could buy Englands 5th or 6th best right back. I would honestly not swap Trippier for either KWP or Tino. God I hope they go down and something else happens which puts them in the sh*t. Liquidation would be superb if that could somehow happen
-
I think it obviously depends on any situation with our club. 6 months ago it would've been Villa by a stretch. Before then it was always Liverpool or Tottenham. Right now...those weird folk who can barely speak English
-
Look forward to playing them in a few months when they've got a whole new squad and ASM and Wilson back from injury... What an absolute joke. We had more players out when we lost 9-0 at Old Trafford last year
-
We need to do everything we can to keep him after this season. Whether its on another loan or to somehow buy him (if these new owner rumours are true). Can see a team like Villa or West Ham getting him for £40m though which is over our budget for one player.
-
Bet they wouldn't have announced these new stadium restrictions if the 6 nations was on... Also nightclubs and pubs are still open. Idiotic to close stadiums but keep tightly packed indoor venues open
-
Think I saw someone on twitter say out of our last 16 cup draws we've been drawn away 12 times. (not including replays and Wembley) which is crazy.
-
Away to Yeovil would be fun
-
Its a wind up merchant on twitter. No substance in it at all. Just a weirdo making up random rumours.
-
Ironically he's just probably played his best shot stopping games of the season today. All undone by causing a series of monumental f*** ups by not signalling to the bench to be taken off or at least going down for treatment. If a fully fit keeper is in goal, JWP doesn't drop back to the line, that prick Maupay is offside and we win the game...
-
Like us against Villa literally 4 weeks ago? And against Watford one week before that?
-
He owns Nice and Lausanne I believe. Would be best case scenario for an owner I think, although it all depends on whether he wants to spend any money or just use us as an investment. Ineos would look great as a shirt sponsor also
-
I think someone made a good point above that if the majority of the stadium's doctors and paramedics are assisting a supporter in the stands, this means they can not respond to a player if a serious injury was to happen on the pitch. I think the right thing to do is to stop the game if someones life is at risk, there could be a specialist doctor in the stands as a supporter and they wouldn't be able to assist unless they knew about it (as was seen at the Newcastle game earlier this season). As to the reason why this is happening more often, who knows? Might be a coincidence that its happening during these times, or could be something as simple as the majority of people being a lot less active over the past couple of years due to lockdowns and not being able to leave the house as much etc.

Ralph is still in OV. Seen him returning from the training ground some evenings in his Porsche with a German plate
-
I was annoyed when I learned about the 40m buy back clause Chelsea have just incase he turns out to be a star, and it looks like that is the case. I think at the end of next season we could be looking at a player worth VVD sort of money... Thats if he continues in this form. I thought the Villa game was the only game I've seen where he looked off. But they were doubling up and fouling him all game so can't really be blamed for that.
-
Drove over the Itchen today and didn't look like they had been replaced yet. Still two weeks before the next game though so plenty of time
-
Got to admire their ambition. But them wanting Ralph would be like us wanting Moyes. Its a step down and will never ever happen
-
Oh goodness I hope this is the start of something...
-
I thought it looked like a screwed up piece of paper. Still weird though.
-
From a couple of people in the Watford end I believe. Saw it on The Athletic article. Chanting 'rent boy' towards Tino.
-
Would feel a lot more comfortable if Watford hadn't just scored five at Goodison. Lets hope that was a bit of a freak result as opposed to Ranieri working his magic again. Honestly a tricky one for us and I wouldn't be too unhappy with a draw, that can change depending on how the game goes though. Just hope its not another one where we play well, deserve to win but fall short
-
So when we have injuries then its not a good enough excuse and the manager deserves to be sacked, but when its another team then its unlucky for them? I guess if you were a Leeds fan you'd want Bielsa out right now?
-
Would you be this negative if Broja's shot that hit the post against West Ham went in or the officials didn't bottle our penalty decision against City? I can't say that anyone has been unlucky against us this season so far. None of the teams who failed to beat us deserved to win. However you can say that there have been games we didn't get three points where we fully deserved them.
