  1. Its grown on me in the last couple of hours. Although like most kits nowadays the sponsor completely ruins it. Could they not have at least make the white circle transparent instead of filling it in?
  2. No. Experience doesn't mean they're knowledgable on the pitch. Bella-Kotchap for example is only 20 but has 66 appearances in the Bundesliga. Thats more than someone like Pontus Jansson who is a very experienced defender has in the premier league. The only 'experience' we could afford is experience from a lesser team, e.g Mee from Burnley. Id rather not have the experience of a premier league centre back who has only known relegation battles.

    Tyler Dibling

Makes you think whether we should be putting players like Doyle, Dibling, Diamond Edwards etc. straight into the first team. They cant be too far off Djenepo, Elyonoussi at the moment and if it means keeping them it may be worth it
  4. Yeah but staggered with the away kit. So we're getting a new kit each year but keeping the kit for two years.
  5. I've said this before. Mentioned it on twitter but didnt get much traction. Some kid replying 'just no'. Makes so much sense to change it to 'Come on your Saints'. Guess we might just need to get a group in the northam to start it and it'll gain traction from there
  6. Like this on first impression
  7. Similar to above. Sell if we can get two 30m players who will go straight into the first team. If its going to be for a few 10m gamble players then no
  8. Source? Im embarrassed at how impatient I am for a new shirt release but with no footy on at the moment any kind of saints related news is exciting haha
  9. Remember the super computer that had saints to not win a game the whole of last season whilst scoring 10 goals? Think we got our first win of the season vs Leeds about 3 days after it was released haha. I wouldnt pay any attention to any predictions....
  10. Last season was my first as a ST holder after moving down last year. Cant say I'll ever not have one as long as Im living within a reasonable distance. Like someone said, its the optimism beforehand and the walk to the ground thats the best part. And its worth the poor losses for one or two surprise wins against big boys imo
  11. I'd take him if he took a massive pay cut
  12. I'd say so. Has looked comfortable both attacking and defending and only 24. An upgrade on Bertrand the past few seasons for sure. I'd maybe downgrade the 'very good' to just 'good'
  13. He said we'd end up with 'some youth loan'. I know Broja is not our player...............
  14. Just curious, did you know anything about the 'foreign unknowns' Sadio Mane, Dusan Tadic or Graziano Pelle when we bought them? Also Perraud, Salisu, Broja and Livramento fit into the category you have just said and I'd say they have all been very good signings...

    Timo Werner

Could never afford his wages. He'd need to drop his salary by two thirds for us to afford him
  16. Interesting how Bazunu was named in the League 1 team of the season earlier today but there has been no mention of it from the skates social media team... quite funny really 😆
  17. Crazy to think because of how good he's been since but Mane in the cup against a league 1 Sheffield United
  18. I've always been confused as to why we chant 'come on you reds' instead of 'come on you saints'. Can we try and change this please haha
  19. I assume you haven't bothered watching the u18s who made it to the national final vs Man City or the u23s who have had a decent season this year? Or the womens team who have won three trophies and recently got promoted to the second tier for the first time? I guess you're the sort of person who left the Inter Milan game pissed off because the sausage roll you had at halftime was half a inch shorter than you were expecting
  20. I saw that Salisu and Bednarek are number 1 and 2 on the most PL interceptions for last season. On the face of it this looks like a good thing but centre backs should not be needing to make that amount of interceptions. For example the rest of the top 5 are all midfielders. I think a lot of the errors they make are not due to their ability as players, but how we are defensively set up so I think its very unfair on them.
  21. Never gonna happen but it would be absolutely glorious if Everton got docked 3 points after yesterday. At least if they keep Frank as manager they will be struggling just as much next season
  22. Easiest and cheapest method to stop this would be just to bring back fencing around the pitch. Seems to be no problem in Germany and other countries...

    U18s

A lot more going to this than I thought would! Very good to see
  24. Great to hear that he's close to home and doing well. I'll definitely pop along on Friday
