  1. Can see Jones being in the stand for this one and he may want to see a strong 11 to see what he has before Liverpool on Saturday.
  2. Really really don't get the negativity around it before he's even managed a game for us. He isn't the experienced football brain most of us were expecting but there have been a lot of gems who have come from the EFL. Potter, Rodgers, Howe etc. He has a hell of a lot more managerial experience than Gerrard, Lampard, Vieira, Arteta but I doubt people would've been having a meltdown if we picked up one of them.
  3. I assume he was there. Given the transparency about him leaving and even helping choose a new manager wouldn't be surprised if he had a say
  4. Can we read much into Selles managing the B team yesterday? Potential practice with many first team players getting ready to take over from Ralph?
  5. Lewis Payne. Played against Cambridge
  6. This is a ridiculous decision. As others have said why cant we cut down the away allocation for more segregation netting? As for the 'surge' when we scored, this happens at every other ground you go to where the vocal home support is next to the away end but they don't tend to be as heavy handed at these other places. If Steele was in charge of Elland Road the whole ground would be closed...
  7. On a positive note in recent seasons we have somehow tended to do well against them. Would've won there last season if it wasn't for an awful VAR decision. Having said that I cant see anything other than at least a 4-0 loss and a Haaland hattrick
  8. No he missed training in the afternoon as well
  9. So frustrating that they only offer 1300 for this fixture in their shed. But we have to offer them at least 3000 when they come here. Doesn't really seem fair at all. We could sell out their whole ground if it was offered to us.
  10. Ralph does have a bit of a decision to make with the fullbacks now. RB: KWP, Tino LB: Perraud, Moussa, Larios, KWP Try keeping all of those happy
  11. Private jet flight scheduled from Eindhoven to Leeds at 8am tomorrow morning. Doesn't look good at all. (I have double checked and its right)
  12. Thats more likely to be a re location for the plane. The last person they dropped off will have been at Southampton but the next person to charter the plane needs picking up from Biggin Hill
  13. I've just looked for this callsign and its showing that plane is due to fly to Glasgow at that time, not Southampton. Strange
  14. If Newcastle lose 4-0 to City we'll finish the weekend in the top half! Although Liverpool would probably go above us tomorrow when they beat United
  15. It wasn't 70 minutes. We were all over them for about 5-10 mins before we scored our first. And we continued to dominate until the end of the game. Our expected goals was 1.13 and Leicester's was 0.26. We had more shots, more shots on target, more corners. Its not about how much of the ball you have, its what you do with it that counts.
  16. They played Give it Away by The Red Hot Chilli Peppers after full time as well
  17. I wouldn't say Leeds were the better team at all. I thought the first half was very even
  18. I don't think the unwatered pitch helped with the attacking for either team to be honest. When you're used to playing on fast, slick surfaces its hard to adjust. Having said that we do still need a creative spark. Djenepo was good this afternoon and I think Diamond has been good in the two previous games. It makes me laugh when I see people having meltdowns from pre season games. Seen people on twitter questioning Ralphs subs and tactics in a friendly haha. We've had terrible pre seasons before and done well in the season and we've had great pre seasons and done awfully.
  19. No. That goals / games ratio is very similar to Broja for us last season actually, since he also got 6. Shane Long's was much worse
  20. The thing about him is. When we are playing well as a team, he's ridiculously good, shades of Haaland about his direct play. But when the team is out of form he goes missing. Although I guess you could say that about everyone
  21. Would have been nice if I could have got a ticket for tonight but unfortunately they were all sold out Like above I hope Rafferty gets some game time. For people who don't care about womens football, these guys above sure post a lot about it. Maybe they're in denial...
  22. Saw him at St Marys on a couple of occasions last season and looked very lively. Very fast and agile
  23. Livramento, Loveramento, Laughramento
  24. Sold out instantly when it went to all STH this morning. I missed out on a ticket ffs 😔
  25. Sounds like we'll be having a friendly against RB Leipzig, venue unknown though. Hopefully at St Marys!
