Presumably that I already get ridiculed...like for the Wanyama Future thread last week... -

Les Reed isn't aware of interest in any of our players and Koeman said we had heard nothing regarding Clyne. Fully expect Morgan to be the only one to go. Wanyama is happy here, has seen how his former team mates have earned double or treble what he does but are unhappy at Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal and will stay if we get the holy grail of Europa League assuming the result of the FA Cup Final goes our way. Get used to a summer of Journalists trying to destabilise us....and fail. Going from the last 5 years we are due to finish 2nd or 3rd next year. #wemarchon -
Sky reporting Arsenal interest in the papers this morning.

Amazed Hesketh hasnt been picked in the England age group teams.
-
Hesketh looking very good. Its Neil Mellor on comms.

Not good enough attack wise to do much more than 6th or 7th which is a great season still. But poor away form of late with no points from Everton, West Brom and Stoke.

Your trains aren't the greatest. I am going to the Tottenham Hotspur game on April 25th (12.45) so am very excited about that. But will leave about 6 hours before the official start to make sure I get there. Hopefully see lots of you there too. Enjoy Stoke Griffo - great Saints fan.
-
I've been to the St Mary's stadium to watch the match versus Arsenal at new year. Was brilliant. Do you go to most games? Have fun at Stoke - hopefully we will be victorious and it is a fun trip for all the travelling fans. Is there much in the way of culture in that area?
-
Not sure as haven't visited Stoke. But maybe look at other non-pub options? See if you can have a good day without alcohol for a change.
-
Might as well get Javi de Pedro in as well.
-
Hope he goes to City, as otherwise with Barca connections in their boardroom Koeman will likely be in the frame.

Agree apart from regarding one sentence. The club doesn't hold the cards. The player (as is the case 90% of the time) will get what he wants. For Southampton business model, to lose a £15m plus quality player for free is a disaster, so his contract situation almost forces us to sell. We rely on buying potential, developing and selling for a profit. Not losing on a free transfer.

I had not known of the team until I just googled!! Yuki

Surely not that confusing. They hounded him out with delusions of grandeur. They are an odd club. Big support like Sunderland because of a concentrated population but not exactly a powerhoise of English football. Hope Sunderland go down and Newcastle get real.

How was Maya today? Great win Saints!!

The funniest part is that I am actually named Yuki Sake Ehime. On the topic you would probably enjoy to read this: http://www.japantimes.co.jp/life/2009/10/11/lifestyle/japans-top-100-most-common-family-names/#.VSaBsctwbqA I have a friend with the family name Ohno (number 73) which I found normal until learning English!! You will see also Yoshida on the list. Shame no footballer number 44!! Yuki

Im not a great painter. But thank you. I have showed a lot of my friends this topic and they have enjoyed it. Some of them are trying to sign up as they like the EPL too.

Good. Pushes the price up.

Then you have not seen every Japanese name, as there are others in my family of the same name, which predates the drink that you are aware of. Incidentally I know a British family with the surname Beer. I am a student at the University of Sussex. There are quite a few lecturers from Japan here also. They speak and write good English, just like there are some (few) English who can write well in other languages. I not a football expert, but since Maya joined the Saints and I moves here to study, I have become a fan. I hope that is ok with you, my friend.
-
Neither am I. My name is Yuki Sake. I am now aware of why people keep mentioning Glasgow and find it quite narrow minded that someone with a clear non British username is not believed, just like the American person. There doesn't appear to be a great cultural tollerance on this messageboard, but thats the way it goes I suppose. Just because "you" invented the game it does not automatically mean you reserve the rights to have an opinion on it. All good fun though, mostly. Yuki.

Is there an echo in here?
-
No real criticism of Gallagher - he is working his way back after a long injury layoff, but he isnt suddenly going to come into the first team. When we arent scoring people look for other names but if Koeman thought Gallagher or Seager could really help now they would be on the bench, and they aren't. Just saying "Pelle is crap, give Gallagher a go" is the type of thing fans say but its ridiculous. If Gallagher was banging in goals in the U21s then maybe, but he isn't.
-
Shame Long gets too much criticised I think. He runs well and works hard for the team. Other need to score goals.

Reliable Connor Armstrong on Twitter says Thompson has dislocated his shoulder. Hope it's not too bad!!
