The things I read from you are constant criticisms of Biden whilst giving Trump a free pass on his many misdemeanours. You say here that Trump is just as bad whereas in your other posts you talk him up. So which is it? Your friends support him apparently and they are not brainwashed like the rest of us. If he is just as bad why not criticise them too? How come we are brainwashed because we are against Trump but we should listen to them because, apparently, they are not brainwashed? Those were the days before bloated squads and the top clubs having the financial clout to hoover up all of the available talent. It’s unthinkable for a players like Ron Davies, Terry Paine and Mick Channon to be playing for a lowly team as we were then nowadays. There were plenty of quality players to be found in the lower regions of the old Division 1.

For the keeper alone I would give it a 10. After a long period of whinging about the lack of quality in goal we have signed someone who is still a decent age and could easily fill the number 1 spot for a top 6 PL club. Not only that but he looks like a big personality too which can only help in the dressing room and in training. For a club in our position this is an incredible signing and I still can’t quite believe it has happened. I’m not going to cast my vote until I see what score Batman gives it though 😉

Did I hear right that none of the gigs are going to be filmed? Assume that it to push demand for expensive tickets. Geldorf did something similar with Live Aid. He didn’t was the film to be released as he wanted the event to be like a “shooting star.” Given the whole point of the event was to raise money for the starving, what a stupid, precious, stance. I’m sure they will sell out the tickets anyway, so filming it only adds to the pension fund down the line.

I was hacked down from behind when I was about 27. I tried to play on in the hope that it was a mild sprain. My ankle blew up like a ballon so I had to leave the pitch. Foolishly I didn’t bother to go to A & E as, even back in the later 70’s the waiting list was long. It didn’t get any better and after a 5 mile hike several months last I decided to have it looked at. An x-ray revealed a healing fracture along with ankle ligament damage. That was effectively the end of my football career. My ankle is still painful over 40 years later. He will have the best care of course and hopefully he will make a full recovery, but serious ligament injuries are not very forgiving, especially in an arena like the PL.

We can beat Everton but I would prefer to see more of the 1st team start next time.
