FWIW i think all of our 10’s are pretty crap on the whole with no consistency game on game. All this debate shows is we desperately need some money pumped into the 10 and striker position as we’re badly lacking creativity

From 5th December onwards he had 1 goal (big deflection) and 1 assist in 968 minutes of football, hasn’t been contributing for months now. Time to ship him on

They don’t have to be played as out and out wingers, bring them in more narrow similar to the position our 10’s play at the moment. By the sounds of it we’re after another striker/attacking mid so doubt this will be our starting lineup

End of the day 10 mil isn’t breaking the bank and even if he scores 4/5 goals then it’s just as many as all of our No.10’s put together this year. Cheap gamble imo

They bought him 8 years ago so hardly a great track record in recent years for young lads making a career from Everton. Saints have had way more players move to big clubs so surely we’re the better prospect if you want game time and a stepping stone to the big boys?

I agree with West Ham but let’s not put Everton in a better bracket than us as things stand. Agreed they’re historically a “bigger club” but they’re currently in the shit financially and just about scraped survival last year - they haven’t been a top team for years now

He’d be a cracking signing for £10 mil or so- gives us some experience to go with our youth, 3 seasons in the SPL and a few in Europa. Proven he can score goals as an attacking midfielder, which is somewhere we’re badly badly lacking

Yep they needed to get it done before 1st July to stay within the profit/loss rules the prem has. Apparently they weren’t too happy with 60 mil and wanted more but had no choice to avoid points deductions/fines

Makes me wonder whether there’s more money coming in from the owners than we think. We’ve spent a good whack improving CB/GK/CDM (assuming Lavia is a done deal) already, surely we spend at least another 30-40 million improving the attack?? we’ll no doubt sell bednarek and possibly 1 or 2 of redmond/djenepo/Walcott so frees up some funds

Would love to see us get Hudson Odoi but can’t see that happening. Bayern were after him for ages but didn’t happen in the end

Done his ACL in April/May so i expect we won’t see him back until January at the earliest, maybe as late as March
