They are an utter shower of shít. Genuinely clueless. For success at Premiership level you need a coherent strategy of quality recruitment and retention of players, coaches, technical staff, statisticians etc etc. From appointing Jones, to dismantling our scouting network SR have proved themselves to be totally inept. Our only hope is Dragan Solak dumps Rasmus Ankersen and Semmens and gets someone in who knows hoe to run a football club.

It will be us, Bournemouth and Leeds. And unless there is a proper reset behind the scenes in coaching and player recruitment we're going to be staying down for some time. We are a shambles top to bottom.

I would imagine it won't be too long before Dragan Solak realises that Rasmus Ankersen is spunking his money up the wall and will step in and either clip his wings or throw his over board.

I'd be happy if it's only a short term appointment, because stay up or go down I cant see Marsch as the start of a long term project that brings success to St Mary's.

We're not going to get in a decent manager that is capable of taking us forward at this stage of the season given our league position. Any such manager would not want to blot their career record with a relegation however much money you throw at them. So we're left with experienced old campaigner, Aladyce etc, or recently sacked and struggling to find another berth, Lampard, Marsch etc. Or.. stick with temporary solution ie Selles, and have a proper re-boot top to bottom in the summer. Personally I prefer the last option.

Here we go again. Sport Republic is owned and controlled by Dragan Solak. According to companies House register, details of which have been posted in here, it is possible that Ramus Ankersen owns a tiny shareholding but if he does it has very little monetary value and just allows voting rights within the company. Voting rights which obviously can't challenge that of Dragans. If Dragan wants Rasmus out, Rasmus is out.

Marsch no. Bruce no. Alladyce no. Current Luton manager no. Anyone Rasmus has been tracking no. Any well dressed Spaniard yes.

As Dragan is the money man he is the boss. Ankersen is nominated CEO, and I don't know the shareholding of each in SR, but I'm guessing the vast, vast majority is in Dragans name. If you put the money in why would it be any different. Thus if Dragan wants Ankersen out, Ankersen is out.

I think at the board meeting this morning, they have decided to 'price in' relegation. Once they made that not un-reasonable decision then the advantage of sacking Jones now becomes less urgent, they can take their time and find the right fit (again) meanwhile maybe, in their minds, Jones can turn it around.

My thoughts exactly. Rasmus at some point is going to have to answer to Dragan. And although Dragan is hugely wealthy he's not in the Elon Musk league where losing hundreds of millions is small change. You hope he would hold Rasus's feet to the coals!

So Semmens and SR now have a problem, completely of their own making, about where to go from here. They can't be so stupid to think that Nathan Jones is anything other than a failed experiment. So from thier point if view how best to proceed? If they sack Jones now there is still a slim chance of avoiding the drop if they get the right man in. But they could get a decent manager in and we still go down, and then the new manager loses respect of fans players etc. If they stick with Jones, accept we're going down, do proper search this time and get a good manager in for next season in the Championship, with new manager bounce and storm back to the premiership. Or do they stick with Jones telling themselves he's a proven performer in the Championship and with a little media training he'll be fine? The bigger problem is whatever glue they were sniffing when they decided NJ was a good idea is probably still under their nose. !

1. Who's idea was it to appoint NJ, And have they been relieved of such future responsibility? 2. Why the fūck are there so many away fans in home seating every fùcking game. 3. Why are there away fans in hospitality boxes? 4. Have they considered buying players to build a team, rather than buying players to just turn a profit? 5. Has the plonker responsible for the kit that makes us look like Bolton or Spurs from the back been horse-whipped yet?

With respect, no amount of support or encouragement is going to change anything at SMS, so 'the fans 'might as well let rip on a mong board, after all that's what they are there for.

Blame should be aimed solely at Sport Republic and Semmons for this mess.

Of course we would. But then Jones is demonstrably inadequate in everything he does he's going to get blamed whatever he does. I feel sorry for him, its not his fault. The plums running the club are to blame for appointing him.

When Jones name came up as someone we were talking to the collective response of nearly everyone was 'WHY'? There is nothing in his CV that makes him stand out from any lower league manager. On the contrary, he failed miserably at Stoke. It's as if SR put the names of every lower league manager in a hat, and pulled out Jones. Unfathomable. Makes you wonder what lunacy they are capable of next.

Agree 100%. Back in the day we had some passionate and effective protests aimed at the directors and Branfoot, and things are clearly worse now. It's too late for the getting behind the team bollox. Protest and save the club from these charlatans.
