    Theo Walcott?

Examples A and B: Romeu and Bertrand. Not good enough for their club, brilliant for us. That's our policy at the moment. I think we should also get Luke Shaw back in when we need a new LB.
  2. That is our best team on paper. However, that front 3 aren't on form. I'd like to see it though.
  3. Butt, Pinas and Quim too.
  4. You have no soul. You are no saint. You disgust me. Please ignore this troll. RIP.
  5. Thanks very much. A true Saint.
  6. Anyone got a good stream? Usuals are not working today. Thanks in advance.
  7. Bring back Cuco!!
  8. Forgot the one saved version Forest
  9. Puel is above Moyes, McClaren, Pardew and Sherwood so we're looking good
  10. Lesley. It's a great name. But you don't get any babies called Lesley/Leslie now. Baby Leslie. Doesn't work. I liked Les Dawson.
  11. Miguel Herrera for me

    Puel out

Whilst I agree with that, players like Long, Romeu, Ray Houghton, Kante, Cafu, and numerous others would suggest that stamina and the hard work put in to improve it has a part to play. Many players could work harder.
  13. First sensible post on here in years!
  14. Fair enough, it's all about opinions I suppose, just think Romeu is the only real standout improvement but Puel evidently believes all have. If that was the case I think we'd have seen more evidence of that on the pitch. We haven't.
  15. Sounds a bit delusional, "all players have improved under me" is simply nonsense. Romeu, yes, everyone else, no. If he truly believes that, that's a worry.
  16. I want to see more of Clasie. Haven't seen the best of him yet but brief moments suggest he could be very good. A few consecutive games would help, and some faith/inspiration from the manager/coaches. He ran games in the Dutch league and played internationally in a passing team. Just think he could have more to offer, it's in there somewhere.
  17. I think you have just proved the point that you only see what you want to see. Myopia, I believe its called. Ask your nurse. How you can be happy about the results and displays this season, of both players and managers, is astounding. We have seen so much better, we are capable of so much better. A better manager would get more out of this team. Thats the facts.
  18. A manager who cannot inspire his players has failed in his job. No player has improved this season, some have gone backwards. Buck stops with Puel. He has not improved Saints, he has made us worse. Just because he's inoffensive should not exclude him from criticism. Time to go, fresh start in the summer. Onwards and upwards.
  19. Slightly concerned that his team mates don't seem to like him - seems rare they congratulate him on scoring. Suppose context needed. The no.39 who sets up a bunch of his goals looks handy too.
  20. Good effort. Unlucky to go in 2-1 down at half time. If Puel and Les had sorted the defence in January we'd be higher up the table. Unforgivable at this level, having that lack of foresight, and general insight. Just can't understand it and there is no excuse. As we're not getting relegated we're stuck with Puel for next season but, despite his final acceptance that the diamond doesn't work, he has not got the best out of the players he has, and fails to motivate them or the fans. Poor choice.
  21. Yes he did Did he? Yes One of the weird phrases that can have the same inferred meaning any which way the words are placed. Saturday night...bugger
  22. You've used irony correctly! I can relax. Thank you.
  23. Generalisations of this kind can be offensive. Keep to specifics please.
  24. FFS its sarcasm, NOT irony. Learn what the word means and how it should be used in context before sharing your ignorance. Bit of a pet hate of mine.
