League deduct 10 Points - Will apply in L1 Next Season
Bald Headed Jesus replied to Danny's topic in The Saints
Our best possible outcome is starting next season in League 1 with zero points and even that is highly unlikely! -
Agreed. CB Fry clearly has a boulder-sized chip on his shoulder.
-
You're right. Just got back. We played well attacking-wise, lot's of good moves. Poor finishing at times and crap defending for their two goals did for us.
-
Good watch. Good to see Mick looking pretty healthy. Great scenes from the cup, which can also be seen here if anyone hasn't seen them on BBC website: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/fa_cup/7783151.stm

I have heard the same...
-
In the cold light of day I am still convinced he has gone...
-
You are right, Cork is gone.
-
Cork has gone to another (struggling) Championship club. Gutted.
-
You can't pay at the gate but you can pay in advance and pick your ticket up on the night.
-
Quality. Lowey, Wildey and Crouchey. Who are the fun pixies though?
-
Shtop, shtop...

I wish I had the time to analyse the stats instead of going to games but I doubt minute-for-minute he compares that unfavourably.
-
Agree that Paterson looked good, put himself about well, not sure about his finishing power though, but a bit early to judge.
-
Eh? How many goals did Saga score last season? And how many assists?
-
Blimey, someone who didn't go to the game who does not cast aspersions on the perfomance before hearing from others. That must be a first round here.
-
Well, you are wrong. Yet another example of a pontificating keyboard stroker. We were not tight enough in the first half and Kelvin kept us in it. Jan's changes in the second half worked and we were definitely the better team and could have won it. An entertaining match.

Saints vs Plymouth - Post Match Reactions
Bald Headed Jesus replied to Arizona's topic in The Saints
Disappointing - need to keep the away form going on Saturday. -
Top day out, had a beer with Mark Dennis on the train there which topped it off. More of the same next week please.
-
Please name them and where they have stated an interest in taking over.

Yes, a couple of hundred votes on a website hardly anyone has heard of will make all the difference. I am no great fan of Lowe but there is no alternative at the moment. IF we were voting to get someone else specific in that would make more sense.
-
I am sure when Rupert sees the results of the vote on your website he will fall on his sword.
-
Could someone let me know how much time he has had on the pitch? I reckon 2 - 3 matches worth and haven't seen him do much. Willing to be corrected.
-
Fair enough. His one goal is evidence of a shot. And he has spent most of his time on the bench. Our lack of opportunities is mainly due to a very negative formation at home I think. Might work for Chelsea but that is a different kettle of fish entirely. Still think Pekhart makes minimal impact when he comes on.

Agree with most of that, McGoldrick battled manfully given he was on his own. Why do we play an away formattion at home? Lallana looked good but he can't shoot.
