  1. No problem, the Belgian Airforce doesn't have enough pilots to fly the planes. And when they do then usually they're out of petrol.
  2. Trump is also the biggest liar and probably proud of it. Also he's facilitating (together with the UK...) the Saudi's to commit a massacre in Jemen. But when you think all of this makes him an "international disaster", what do you think of Clinton then, a complete international clusterf*ck? In collaboration with Obama she turned Libya into a real hellhole, said on several occasions she would bomb the hell out of Iran when they don't comply to her demands and believed she could bring down Putin with more sanctions the world has ever seen. This vile woman is completely insane, I'll never forget that creepy laugh when she heard Gaddafi was killed. Let's hope Trump won't go as far as this witch would...
  3. Yup, there are enough lunatics on the left who are willing to start the fire... https://outline.com/TXW6L8
  4. I'm not an alt right supporter SOG though I can stand them better than their left counterparts as they do have a much bigger sense of humour than the Antifa and so on who take themselves too seriously. I can't even say if I'm left or right anymore as there is not so much difference between them in the Dutch political system, usually both sides form the government so it doesn't matter who you vote for anyway. I'm not a fan of Trump either but for me it was a relief that Clinton lost. Up to this moment I'm still glad she didn't became president as the chances of a war with Iran and nasty disputes with Russia would be much higher. Of course in this matter things might go wrong with Trump also - he's pushing Saudi Arabia really hard to form some kind of Arabic Nato against Iran and who knows what his trade policies with China will lead to - but so far so good. As long as he keeps his focus on domestic affairs the world is a safer place... Why do you think he's an international disaster?
  5. You’re in for a treat then, hardcore anti-imperialists who don’t like their club being commercially successful... But they are a really nice bunch! [video=youtube_share;9efuiQUC4dc]
  6. If it has to be Germany I recommend a visit to Sankt Pauli in Hamburg, a cult club playing in the second division. The crowd exists of marxists and socialists but unlike the usual boring leftists, these guys (and many women!) create a very pleasant atmosphere. Also, it’s near the Reeperbahn which might be a plus if you’re son is not too young... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/FC_St._Pauli
  7. Don’t know who put this together, it wouldn’t surprise me if Bannon was involved.
  8. I wonder where this lot believe they will end up whenever they meet their maker... https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/acts-of-faith/wp/2018/08/14/pennsylvania-grand-jury-report-on-sex-abuse-in-catholic-church-will-list-hundreds-of-accused-predator-priests/?utm_term=.3f8f740f5fbc
  9. Cheer up everyone, the good guys are winning! [video=youtube_share;6cYZ8dUgPuU]
  10. Nah, Koeman really believed Clasie could make it when he got used to the pace in the PL. At Everton he made the same mistake with Davy Klaassen from Ajax.
  11. Looks like you’re wishes come true CC: Tadic/Ziyech vs van Persie/Clasie (and hopefully Berghuis too). When they all stay fit we might get to see a good match...
  12. Yup, AZ Alkmaar is doing great when it comes to selling players. 22 million for Vincent Janssen and now even more for Alireza. Good for them but I do wonder why English clubs still believe that players from the Eredivisie are likely to succeed in the PL after all failures of the last years. Alireza is a good player, fast and good technical skills but he’ll need a long time to adept to the pace and power of the PL. Hopefully for him he’ll get that time.
  13. France has the best players (apart from the hopeless Giroud) and are obviously the best team. Too bad they play some kind of Mourinho style. Really awful to watch when you’re neutral and want to be entertained.
  14. How true... I do like to read your posts Shurlock as you’re usually well informed and know how to argue. But on many occasion you seem to enjoy yourself with the denigration of other forum members and to polarize a discussion. As you’re aware of the dangerous consequenses, why do you like to push others into a category of nitwits? Or is it me not understanding the banter on a football forum?
  15. Dutch clubs are more or less training centers for bigger leagues and need the money to survive. Their revenues from television are nothing compared to those from clubs in England, Germany, Italy etc. For example: Feyenoord gets 7 to 8 million euros each year which isn’t even enough to buy a player like Clasie.
  16. According to the Dutch Algemeen Dagblad the Saints are willing to send Clasie to Feyenoord on loan. It is said that Feyenoord is doing everything to get Clasie back, I assume this means that it’s difficult to agree on the terms. https://www.ad.nl/transfer-talk/feyenoord-maakt-werk-van-terugkeer-clasie~a02ac252/
  17. I agree, the Saints should try to sell Clasie for at least 10m. As Feyenoord will never pay that much, the question is which clubs are willing to pay this kind of money for a player who failed at the Saints and more or less also at Bruges? Also, Clasie stated that he only wants to leave for Feyenoord as he and his family are not happy abroad. If no other club is interested or Clasie doesn’t want to go to another club, I guess it’s best for everyone to send him to Feyenoord on loan so Saints doesn’t have to pay his wages and also earns some money. Unless Hughes believes that Clasie could play for the Saints occasionaly of course.
  18. Good to see Clasie still has that quality pass... http://voetbalflitsen.nl/nieuws/dknz21/martin-van-geel-let-je-op-wereld-assist-jordy-clasie-in-oefenduel-schalke-04-southampton-video
  19. Sweden is the most boring team in this World Cup but as there are almost no teams anymore capable to play a very defensive opponent, they are tough to beat. They beat The Netherlands and France in their qualification round and beat Italy in the final qualification. In Russia they beat Mexico and lost the game against Germany in injury time. As England doesn't have a creative player like de Bruyne, I guess it will be another really boring game to watch but you need to win those too to get to the final... Hopefully England will try some shots from outside the box and one will get in. That should be enough.
  20. Unbelievable... Trippier too short to defend, bad mistake.
  21. Typical... https://www.politico.eu/article/strasbourg-european-parliament-meps-reject-scrutiny-of-expenses/
  22. I'm expecting a walk over, Kane 3x
