  1. Because other teams had games in hand, and still do.
  2. According to MOTD they have the worst home record this season after Villa.
  3. With everyone banging on about Mane's "stonewall" penalty shout (whatever the f*ck "stonewall" is supposed to mean), is it lost on everyone that we were lucky not to be playing with ten men for half a game? How that was not a straight red is beyond me.
  4. Way too much hand clapping, back slapping and shirt swapping for my liking.
  5. Please please please let it be this.
  6. I have a few mates who are Hammer fans too. We only tend to consistently agree on one thing.... Spurs and their fans are a horrible horrible lot.
  7. Edit - just realised was published last summer, but still think its worthy noting.
  8. Apologies if this is posted elsewhere... interesting figures.. They value Charlie Austin number 1 most likely to move (obv before we snapped him up) @ 10+m and Pelle @ 15+m http://www.football-observatory.com/IMG/pdf/mr06_eng.pdf
  9. Two that I remember vividly because I had the displeasure of witnessing both Graziano Pelle - except it was home debut and was an own goal... Jamie Redknap - except it was PL debut and at the time against us...
  10. No history lesson required - I was lucky enough to see Clyne's goal last season.
  11. Happily stand corrected, thanks all - t'was automatically thinking he'd be out for 2. I do hope Wenger picks him for our game* *Koeman doesn't pick Pelle
  12. Mertesackers red card today and missing out on our game could prove costly.... for us. Would have preferred he started than not against Long and Mane.
  13. Or when it's Fellaini's elbows
  14. It might just be me but reckon if you listen to it closely, he actually says "it's bullsh*t" and it's been edited it out, as it seems to go momentarily silent immediately after he says "bull". I particularly liked when he said "maybe it's not the most serious of newspapers..". How long before he names and shames Crook I wonder...
  15. Norwich 3-1 up. If we secure 3 points there's a very good chance we see ourselves 7th tonight.... chickens... hatching ... and all that.
  16. Wanyama should get the nod for this game to deal with that dirty lanky c*nt Fellaini. Toss a coin for who will be along side him.
  17. He didn't have a terrible day by any stretch but also I don't think he was key. He had good defensive positioning and screened well when required, but those possession stats don't really reflect that. He played as the fulcrum when we had possession against the Baggies who parked the bus and gave him all the time of day he needed to execute his passes - which invariable he needed.

    Wanyama

This is the same guy who wore a t-shirt with the Confederate flag on it.... he's not that smart.
  19. Wanyama 67% pas s accuracy
  20. We will never change our club name, but maybe what's being tossed around for the US is something like "The Saints Soccer Academy".....which unusually wouldn't annoy me one iota. No insider info, just a hunch as it would make sense for the USA (F*ck Yeah!).
  21. Imagine the size of the black box with 100,000 kids to keep tabs on....
  22. I suspect the feelings were mutual, but as someone already alluded to, was just a sweetener business deal to get rid of the nut job at the time.
  23. If MLG stands corrected with dignity and grace can the mods make this a sticky please?
  24. I think a lot of clubs would be envious of this
  25. Shilton?
