  1. Good luck with that one. Our best player is an 18 year old left back.
  2. He really is an incredible talent. It's so bizarre seeing a 6 foot 4 centre half bang free kicks into the top corner from 30 yards out, especially up here.
  3. He was. I'm pretty surprised at the figures being reported. He's better than Wanyama so I'd have thought the club would want at least that for him. His behaviour on twitter and you're centre half's comment suggest he'll be joining you anyway.
  4. The reason why he's constantly tearing out of defence is because he's asked to do it by the manager. Jason Denayer did it last season as well.
  5. They still take £600 for my season ticket and £100 for the three group games though. I'd like to know where the money is going.
  6. Good luck to you and Fraser for the season. He did well for us and played a part in some massive wins over the past few years. I'm still not convinced he's better than Artur but you definitely have two excellent keepers on your hands. If you're ever feeling ****e about your 'asset stripping', have a look at us. Absolutely no debt, infact we have about £20m in the bank, and our best players continue to leave with absolutely no investment. Forster has been replaced with Craig Gordon, an admittedly excellent goalkeeper but he hasn't played in years. I'm sure you will eventually bring in some more top talent to replace the guys who have left. I seen you were linked with Javier Hernandez, I think he would be a fantastic signing.
  7. Forster is the worst goalkeeper with the ball at his feet I've ever seen at Celtic. Fantastic talent but like I said on here a few days ago, I don't think he took up football until he was in his late teens, hence the severe lack of technical ability with the ball at his feet.
  8. Not sure if you lot are interested but I was at Murrayfield tonight and Fraser Forster threw his shirt, gloves etc into the fans. Was as much of a goodbye he could have done without actually saying it, certainly never seen him do that before. Think you will have him before the weekends over.
  9. Both will go but there is no way the board will sell them until our Champions League fate has been sorted. We're 4-1 down before we play at Murrayfield on Wednesday so it looks like we'll be out, but if we do turn that around then they'll 100% still be here until after the final qualifying round. It's just whether Southampton or other interested clubs want to wait the extra couple of weeks or whatever it will be.
  10. Cheers mate. It's a hard one. Forster makes less mistakes than Boruc did but Artur was capable of absolutely magnificent saves. Forster's technical ability is atrocious at times (I believe he didn't take up football until his late teens) so Artur is probably a better bet if Southampton continue to play the ball out from the back because Forster isn't good enough with his feet to start passing the ball out. If I was in charge I'd save my transfer funds for other positions. Van Dijk is our best player by an absolute mile for me. Also brilliant on the ball and great for a goal. He's capable of smashing 30 yard free kicks into the top corner. Obviously it's difficult to tell up here how good a player really is but I'd rather have him than Wanyama.
  11. For what it's worth, from our end at Celtic all the whispers have been that they'll go if we get knocked out on Wednesday, which looks very likely. I'd imagine it will be over the coming weekend. Southampton seem to have been strongly linked with both players, especially Forster and he looks like he'll head down to you. Not sure about Van Dijk as he'll have a lot more interest than Forster - though not sure who it will be who'll bid for him. Would be surprised if you didn't sign at least one of them.
