I liked the second half better because new things scare me. I like familiar things.

Of course, we can still do it. It is not likely but it it is possible. Certainly, it would be great to go to City on the last day of the season playing for fourth place. Obviously, losing in the Champions League playoff is worth more money if only because you get 3 million Euros for playing in the playoff round even if you lose. Also, some fans might buy tickets for the home game. I would assume any chance we have of finishing ahead of City would include beating them. Stop being logical. I am sure someone will be happy to buy you a nice big hat should the need arise. I would really like not to have to start the season at the end of July, if possible. Does that mean we get to live this season over and over again until we get it exactly right? Cool. That's the spirit. I assumed that at the very worst Liebherr would want to get the extra money she would get for selling a Premier League club. Also, This. I think the lesson is that many pundits are idiots. I tend to listen to Gab Marcotti and Dan Henry.

That appears to be what Koemann said after the game with Schneiderlin as third choice. Mane was just taking a run at it hoping the JWP wouldn't push the issue--which as it turns out he did not. Koemann and Fonte had to step in.

Possibly you are right that these are not good reasons to hate Redknapp. However, as I explained on my blog, there are other, better reasons to think very little of him. http://redsloscf.blogspot.com/2015/02/good-riddance-harry-redknapp.html

just recently or a while back? Can you provide a link?
-
I hope he is more careful with his taxes and does not contract to take a cut out of transfer fees.
-
I didn't hear that but will go have a listen. I assumed that Mane grabbed the ball because he was the designated kicker at the start of the game. The Tadic stuff would be new information which couldn't be deduced today because Tadic came on after the penalty.
-
Based upon yesterday's game, our priority list looks like: Tadic Ward-Prowse Mane Do I have it right?
-
We must agree to disagree.
-
It is possible to have a rivalry between two nearby clubs where you really, really want to beat them, but still cheer for them over everyone else because they are your second favorite club.

The point is/was I a trying to understand the game better. I thought he had the chance for a right footed cross and then pulled back to put in a left footed cross. Also, while I do not remember for certain, I am not sure he always got the left footed cross in. I am not saying he did anything wrong. I am just trying to figure out what I was seeing.

I think Irene is probably happy with how things are going for her friend right now.
-
It was an outrage.
-
I thought I saw Tadic beat his man towards the end line several times and then stop and pull back as if he didn't want to risk a right footed cross. Is that what was happening or did I misunderstand?
-
I agree. I meant the other midfielders who would get votes since the ballot does not break up DM from AM.

It makes no sense to hire Redknapp unless you have money to spend so I doubt he will want or get the job. Also, it looks to me like some of the teams whose promotion is iffy may be smart enough not to fire their manager (Burnley and Leicester so far this year for example). The current manager at Bournemouth should be allowed to ride them back down unless he suddenly goes crazy or something.
-
He probably figures that Clyne will win so he might as well vote for him. Notice the lack of a vote for Schneiderlin--the player most likely to compete with the better players from Chelsea.
-
Maybe that can be avoided if they are treated with respect and the rivalry is treated as a good natured one.
-
I hope you are right, but I predict 1-0--a more optimal prediction.
-
I doubt it. It probably sounded like "Stop asdfoawehno;ahg passes"
-
What do you expect when you sell "the goal machine" Jack Cork.
-
Instead, let's speculate about where we will be next year if Mane turns out to be the next Suarez, minus the biting.

Wanyama might perceive, correctly I believe, that he is progressing well under the current coaching staff. Certain, unlike last year, Wanyama with the ball at his feet is not inherently dangerous for us. Another year of similar progress would put him near the top of the game.
