Don't forget you have to pay a tax to use motorways in Switzerland, which used to be a blanket charge rather than a toll as in France
-
Interlaken is quite a way from where the two games are being played, Thun is closest but Friebourg is miles away
-
When I purchased my season ticket at the ticket office last week, there were supporters who were not existing season ticket holders purchasing New season tickets.
-
Renewed lunchtime at ticket office, where there were several people getting season tickets for the first time
-
Dagenham could be another problem game allocation as only 1200 tickets allocated to away fans
-
At many away grounds last season they charged more for tickets purchased on the day of the game than those bought in advance
-
There is a difference with these groups as these are all Official recognised by Southampton FC as are others such as Basingstoke Saints, Northern Saints, Maltese Saints etc; whereas SISA, and Perry's group are not.

all the info is here http://www.havantandwaterlooville.net/news.aspws.asp

They are also going on a pre-season tour of USA. Unless someones paying for them to go can't see how they can afford that either

Lugana was the wine I drank most of at Lake Garda on the three holidays I'd had in Peschiera on Southern End of Lake. with it's own railway station with regular trains to Verona, Venice, Milan and Brescia.

Burnley palyed a couple of games near Lake Garda two or three pre-seasons ago when I was on holiday. They played their games at Bordolino just south of Garda. I saw a few of their fans whilst out on a day trip on boat to Sirmione and later managed to meet up with a Burnley supporting mate who was over there for the games. Great location for pre-season tour IMO, although can be very hot end of July.

I was among the 10 or so Saints fans at those games, the Club never let on where the games were to be played, fearing crowd trouble, but via a contact in Italy we managed to find out all the details. We had a great time in the Aosta Valley in North West Italy, including visiting the Italian side of the Matterhorn and mingling with the Saints players and directors in St Vincent. It was amazing when we took the lead aginst Juve but they were far too good for us which is not surprising given the players they had in their side that day.

Your quite right I blame Hampshire County Council too

At least 4 London Saints did every game, including one who had all sorts of problems getting to Leeds after getting trapped in The Channel tunnel on Eurostar all night before the game. I personally missed only 1 (Carlisle away, when I had to attend my step sisters wedding) As said above great Atmosphere at most games especially Hartlepool, Orient, MK Dons JPT, Walsall, Southend aand both Bristol Rovers games, but some where poor especially Brighton, Exeter, Wycombe and Swindon but all in all it's been a brilliant season both on and off the pitch travelling to away games.
-
Shame the JPT DVD doesn't show goals from the previous rounds on it, maybe these are being left until whole season review DVD

A mate of mine is on Dorset FA and he was speaking to the assessor of the ref for Oldham game the other day, he said he'd given the ref the lowest possible mark for his performance (without the ref having to face a discinlinary hearing) The referee complained and argued he'd had a good game. In short there is no conspiracy, just poor refs, and if assessors are up to scratch the poor performances will get noted and the refs concerned will struggle to stay on the approved list.

Correction You obviously know Taitey then, he was one of the lads in Alghero, but then went onto Rimeni where he was in the wrong place at the wrong time and got deported

This was a great World Cup I went over iniitially for the last two group games in Sardinia. Stayed in Alghero (loads of other Sainys fans stayed there too) at the opposite end of the island to where the games were played and hence avoided the ristrictions on drinking they had at South of the island near matchdays. After we got through to last 16 flew over with two mates to mainland to see the game against Belgium in Bologna (which we won with Platt's last minute overhead kick), spent night in big top then train to Genoa and ferry back to Sardinia. After that back home to watch remainder in pubs over here. Had a great time, but what I remember best is before we left for Sardinia after the Eire game there was little interest in World Cup in England, on our return everyone was talking about and loads of glory hunters were going over to Italy for the later stages of the competition and complaining about the lack of tickets where as for the group games they where easy to get hold of even on the day of the game.
