just over 700 left currently online mostly in the Chapel so should be a sell out

I attended the 3-2 game, First game I'd ever sttod up at the Dell, previously to that I always amanged to get a a seat at the games I attended so remember it well. In those days you had to get to the ground before the gates opened to get a good view if like me you were 9years old, unlike now when I roll in 5mins before kick off I managed with my Dad to get to the front row under the West Stand. I think QPR had Rodney Marsh playing up front for them

They have already done that for Reading Some Saints supporters I know who live near Reading, have bought tickets for our game there last week tickets say 3Pm kick off on Aprikl 6th, but game is now on TV either 12.45 on saturday or 8Pm on Monday, so they definatley can change time of game after tickets have gone on sale
-
For anyone planning to go Tickets go on sale next wednesday £35 for Adults, at the moment 3Pm saturday kick off http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/tickets-norwich-city-vs-saints-649606.aspx

I heard end of interview on way into work and thought Matt handled things well generally, wouldn't be drawn on Cortese, and wanted to talk about the team and the great performance

1 point at Wigan is far more impressive than a victory against Man City
oldsarum replied to jawillwill's topic in The Saints
Colin Murray seemed to be having a love in with Saints in general last night, thinking Puncheon's goal at Chelsea should have been goal of the month and also full of praise for Steve Davis -
Definatley not Before Northampton moved to Sixfields I'd been to the old County Ground to watch Cricket and during a break in play walked on football pitch and terraces, but never considered that counted. In my view you have to have watched a game So for that reason I wouldn't count although I've visited Olympic Stadium Berlin, Bernabau, Rapid Vienna and Ernst-Happel-Stadion in Vienna.

Any videos of the home crowd after Schneidelin's Wigan goal?
oldsarum replied to georgeweahscousin's topic in The Saints
We also took at least 750 up there on a cold February night -
The Barnet and Cheltenham games were pre-season friendlies we've played both teams two or three times I went to York for 89/90 League cup game which we on 1-0 and had Ray Wallace sent off on last of minute, but we alsio played at York in the old Div 2 in 74/75 and 75/76, besides the FA Cup match We also played a friendly at Aldershot back in 70's/ 80's and one more recently at Oxford 's new ground but I never attended either of these games
-
After Saturday I'm now on 81 for clubs at their current grounds + 4 clubs (Shrewsbury, AFC Wimbledon [Plough Lane + Selhurst Park], Oxford United and Rotherham [Millmooor + Don Valley Stadium]) at their old grounds, of those 81 / 85 only at Aldershot have I never seen Saints play. Also seen Saints in league or FA / League cups at league at several clubs no longer in Football League, Stockport, Scarborough, Wrexham, Luton, Grimsby, Lincoln, Hereford and Mansfield.

Group 4's can normally be booked on the day It's worth waiting as our game could still be changed for TV to 12.45 or late KO on Saturday or early Sunday match, but not to Monday as Burnley v Hull already booked for that slot
-
looking at photo of ground blocks 1 and 7 are really small, so if we've sold 4 blocks between 3000 and 3500 sold http://www.footballgroundguide.com/wigan_athletic/

If your think of travelling by train Group 4's are available all the way from around here to Norwich (kids under 15 - £1 return) Eg. Adult return fare on Group 4 Salisbury to Norwich £37.15, and with these tickets you can travel on any train (and not specific trains as with The £16 retur n deal), plus tickets can be bought on the day of the game

I've got mine and a mate in London recived his last friday
-
I'm sure game will be on On Friday Leicester's game was on despite terrible conditions outside the statium with 30 min journeys taking 3 hrs, hence a crowd of 8500 would normally have been 20000 +game went ahead And conditons for our game at Brimingham last season both in and outside ground were terrible were terrible and taht still went ahead So IMO if the pitch is OK think the game will go ahead tomorrow

Southamptons goal machine. the song is just all wrong!
oldsarum replied to wild-saint's topic in The Saints
yeah, "he took us to the Premier League" Indeed this should replace take What I love about this song is that it actually happened and he did take us to the Premier League In all honestly, how many of those singing it back in 2009 - 2010 actually thought he would really do it, and not only get us there but also prove himself in the Premier league ? -
Away fans are located in the North Stand at one end of the stadium, where up to 5,400 visiting supporters can be accommodated. http://www.footballgroundguide.com/wigan_athletic/

Chelsea 2 Saints 2 - Post Match Celebrations & MotM
oldsarum replied to St Chalet's topic in The Saints
"QPR showed that the bigger sides aren't invulnerable at home". QPR showed about the same ambition than we did at Chelsea, they played 4 5 1 like us but with Taarabt on his own up front, and hardly made any chaces at all before they scored, they just defended better We tried using the same tactics but two poor clearances presented Chelsea with their goals -
Strange but true Dave Prutton's partner is Brian O'Neil's daughter, a mate of mine is her uncle.

don't think it's normal Toilet / toilets on train were blocked so couldn't be used
-
I'd be careful regards London Midland We used them for Stoke On way up train stopped at Rugby as no crew available beyond there so had to wait another hour for next train to Stoke On way back no toiliets so train had to stop at Litchfield and Milton Keynes for toilet stops I was cheap though £17 each of you were in group of 4
