  2. London Saints are having to come back via Sheffield to get a reasonable fare coming back, but have amanaged to get direct train up Ok
  3. Hope we can sell a few more tickets Over 3,000 left at the moment , more than 4,000 if you included Block 44 which I think will be available if necessary for Saints fans This should be a really good game, Swansea are a good team to watch and this will be a real test for us
  4. In the games against the same oppponents last season we got 2 points in a 1-1 draw at home to West Ham, and lost 2-0 at West Brom. losst 1-0 to Sunderland and drew 0-0 at Norwich, so effectively we are 3 pts better off then last season. However it's most unlikely the way we are playing that we'd beat Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City at home this time around
  5. Although he didn't have a great game arguable our two best opportinities came from a Rickie through ball to Walcott early in the game and his flick on which Lampard should have buried in the last minute
  6. I just love the way the National press has suddenly discoverd that there is more to Rickie's game than just goalscoring Loads of articles at weekend praising his all round play, which has been apparent to anyone watching him for years. What have these guys been watching for the past 2-3 years Shows how little the press appear to know about players any outside the top six clubs.
  7. London Saints do get an allocation but only enough to cover 10% of our membership, so we have to use season tickets in addition to get a reasonable allocation However we do have (due to drop out's) 3 spares for Liverpool if you need tickets I'm not a full member on this board but Steve Grant has my email address which i'm sure he'll provide you with to get in contact with me for tickets
  8. that's odd as I managed to get 2 Adults + 2 under 17's for LIverpool online using 3 Adults + 1 under 17 members details
  9. I bought 5 tickets on Friday 16th they were nos 1,2,3,4 and 14 for concession ticket so random numbering of tickets if think if we get 300 up there we'll be doing well
  10. I'm taking my 14yr old to what will be his 32 away ground, he loves going to places like this. He's been to Rochdale, Walsall, Exeter, Colchester but never been to Old Trafford or Anfield and not fussed about going to either of those this season either
  11. Lazy journalism again Jay Rod is also English played for U21's and Started so should be 6 English players for Saints Annoyed me this morning when Parry was on Talksport talking about this subject and never mentioned how Saints were setting a good example and how we''d played three 18yr old's in starting line up Saturday
  12. 13. me too we were on our way to Sheff Utd I think
  14. Shirts will cost £50 for Adults, £40 for Kids so not only sh*t shirt but costing significantly more than last season too
  15. Ljulbljana Slovenia is another option for flights to Villach
  16. From what I've seen of Hoskins and Reeves both have a future at League One or Two level
  17. Not enough clean sheets, throughout the season maybe, but in last 5 games away from home only let in 2 goals
  18. I've heard they are changing some of the Disabled areas, probably getting rid of area half way up in away section in Northam
  19. A few people seem to think it might be northern Italy, which is where Saints went in Branfoot's time in charge On that occassion it was kept hush hush but about 10 of us managed to find out and attend the games against Juventus and Torino in the Aosta Valley Area, which is close to Mont Blanc and the South Face of the Matterhorn Spent a really enjotable week over there
  20. how one earth can Liverpool get a higher mark than Everton Goodison is much easier to get too and from and has a railway station within walking distance
  21. Just hope Shaw has learned from Spurs game that you don't, unlees there is plenty of covering midfield players, let the likes of Bale / Johnson cut inside.
  22. Yes it is as Wigan only have 35pts with 2 games left if they lose against Arsenal they will only be able to get 38pts, even a draw will mean they will have to get a massive win and us to lose games by 4 or 5 nil for them to catch up 12 goal goal difference
  23. Lots of info including Real ale Pubs here http://www.footballgroundguide.com/tottenham_hotspur/
  24. I was at the game, my Dad went too although we were in different parts of the ground, he was sat down and I was in Block D9 stood up, in fact only game I missed on the Cup run was Villa replay, went by car to West Brom, Special Train to Bradford, coach to Semi Final and car to Final My younger brother was watching on TV and jumped so high he hit the ceiling when we scored Great day, although it was quite scarry as a 17yr old around Wembley with all the United fans after your tickets before the game and unhappy and looking to hit any Saitns fans after the game Drive back down M3 after game was tremendous, with loads of people on Motorway bridges even up at Farnborough Watching Bobby's goal even now still brings a tear to my eye
  25. Totally agree with your views, he got Red Cards correct and let west Brom get away with too much in the game Lambert consistany fouled , and should surely have booked Long for tugging Gaston back sevral times before he tried to push him off But poor decsions didn't affected result West Brom were better than us and their game plan of hitting us on the break with pace worked agian as it did at the Hawthorns
