  1. Thanks for posting *clicks play button......waits for irritating music. Yep there it is. Turns volume down. Watches in silence*
  2. First time I took any notice of him was when he appeared in the promo video for the new pavilion, talking about the Black Box and scouting. Within 2 weeks of that video he was gone.
  3. Can you keep doing that throughout the season please
  4. Thanks for posting. I do like Oriol, he seems like an intelligent, grounded individual. Really hope he shines this season.
  5. He said he didn't want to be sitting at home watching the CL on Tuesdays and Wednesdays so it will have to be Leicester, Spurs, Arsenal or City that come in for him. Oh dear....it will be Everton.
  6. I'm similar to this. When I've got into discussions with my three kids about how the world and universe got here, I have answered that some people think a god or gods created it, and that scientists think it was created by a big explosion. Every time, the next question would be "where did god come from?" or "what created the big bang?" Then we get into difficulties. So the answer I always give them is "we don't know." I also try to remind them and never to forget the weird, wondrous illogicality that we live on a floating sphere, in a vast nothingness, and that our floating sphere is lit and warmed by an even bigger floating sphere of flame. It's almost unbelievable. Whilst typing this I was reminded of a Carl Sagan clip on Youtube, I found it; [video=youtube;34-1W_9BhoU]
  7. Looks like he has the skills but needs to learn when not to overplay them. Looks promising though. Thought Reed was very busy, hope he's not badly injured.
  8. Like the look of Valery (not Singleton)
  9. There's me thinking Talksport couldn't get any worse.....
  10. Wow. Eloquent, intelligent and exudes confidence. Puts our young English lads to shame. Looks a class act.
  11. Let's hope Bertrand doesn't come back with a nasty dose of Hodgson's disease. Symptoms include; confusion, disorganisation, lethargy, not knowing who you are or where you're supposed to be and a tendency to repeatedly mutter "I don't know why I'm here".
  12. I don't mind losing players to Shandong Luneng. Thank f*** it's not Everton.

Wow. Take a bow Jose and Cedric. Awesome. So happy for them.

I'm actually nervous for him and Cedric. Would be fantastic for them. Even better without Ronaldo.

    Oh yesss!!
  16. Strange article. 3 years contract left on a promising academy prospect, England U21 player, but he'd leave for £5m? Having a laugh.

Think he's the assistant manager at Stoke. Stunning commentary from the man.

Well chuffed for Cedric and Fonte. According to Tyldesley even if Portugal go on to win the cup they won't go home to a better reception than what Wales will get when they go home. Utter c***.

Agree. No need for it imo. I'll be supporting Cedric and Fonte.
  20. Thanks for sharing. Hope Claude feels there's talent there that he can utilise. Great to see Reed looking optimistic and hyped up. Really hope this season gets him back on track.
  21. Steve Coogan with Chris Eubank.
  22. I can just imagine his scathing, mocking tone had we actually appointed the NI manager. "From Koeman to O'neill. How Southampton lost the plot" Can't win with the bloke. Have the club offended him at some point or is he like it with every club?

Not a "man" on the pitch last night. No leaders. Need a manager who will concentrate on team ethic and work rate. We were not a team last night and haven't been for a long time. We're a relegation threatened club that needs a reboot. Big Fat Sam

BBC highlights (highlights isn't the word I'd use) Shearer looked well p*ssed off and pretty much said how it was, revealed he'd approached the FA years ago for the England job, but they weren't interested. He couldn't have done much worse could he?
  25. Happy for him to come here but only as long as he brings Ray Lewington with him - the true brains behind the operation.
