Man United have recalled a young goalkeeper from his loan spell because of a "significant injury to a first team goalkeeper" - Interestibg if it's De Gea ahead of our cup final, but suspect it's Romero
"i'll sit through the biggest game in the club's recent history if I really have to, but after that I'm not supporting them anymore" - You're so brave!
Mane got us top 6 last year, let's be honest. We were in a very similar position to this last season (cup final aside), and then he went on a brilliant run and hauled us to 6th almost single handily.
Be a strange one, would've thought a move for him would've come back in the summer when maybe we weren't sure if he'd find his fitness again. Would be strange given that he has shown bits of his old self to now move him on at what is not a substantial amount of money. But who knows..
Think i'll wait to see if we get to a cup final before getting one next year, knowing that I can just buy one when I decide I want a better chance at tickets
I'd say it was more Saints C vs. Arsenal B (maybe even A- as they had Mustafi, Bellerin, Walcott, Welbeck, Perez who all start either regularly or intermittently)
Højbjerg is our answer to John Stones. A player that everyone goes 'but he definitely WILL be brilliant one day' to avoid saying he just really isn't that good. In fact, i'd say he's absolutely ****.
Absolutely. For all the demand for a striker and CB, that's more of a lack of bodies, whereas our midfield has a serious lack of quality (Romeu aside).
Am I the only person who has been getting really, really ****ed off with the positioning of referee's lately? They seem to always be in the way, often even cutting off avenue's or being right on the first touch of a player.
I'm not saying they couldn't have, i'm saying the idea that you can say 'I won't rest them today i'll rest them for the next game' has the same results is just stupid
Some people seem to think it's as simple as play them today and rest them on Wednesday instead. Other people with brain cells realise that the chances of a player pushing his body to breaking point is much more likely to happen after playing two games in three days, especially when one was as demanding as Wednesday night was.
