His win percentage is better than Busby's - just. I'm trying to think of something positive about him in case he is appointed
-
Out of the five quoted, I hope it isn't Moyes - although his win % at Man U was the third best of all time (according to Wikipedia)

Probably wanting to negotiate a deal elsewhere . . . Seville may be looking for a new manager soon

There have been equally vile tweets by Everton fans regarding creating a Hillsborough style disaster at St Mary's. Whoever posts stuff like this are not true fans of either club. Everton fans are obsessed with us :roll eyes: Why bother registering on another club's forum? Do you really think we are interested in your opinion - you know nothing about Saints, our Board or philosophy. So please - just go away and concentrate on your neighbours

Not sure that FDB is still on the shortlist. He was not one of the four that Guan mentionned. He then said "Manuel Pellegrini wasn't even on the short-list, unlike De Boer" but that shortlist was drawn up before the end of the season. So maybe FDB was on the list but isn't now. Hope he still is on the short list and Moyes is not on the short list

Remember this - posted in January? Blue noses please take note before you start going on about glass-ceilings and lack of ambition.

With our infrastructure, EH could be a brilliant appointment - certainly out-thought RK when they thumped us last season. Amazing that some fans want Giggs/Neville when they have even less experience.
-
Why is Moyes being suggested? People saying Howe needs experience but where would he get it - he could go to another club and be a success and then we regret not appointing him - a gamble worth taking?
-
If the commas are a clue, then it could be also be Pellegrini

Relegated Teams - Players who would you buy from their Squads?

Timm Klose (Norwich), Townsend, Wijaldum -
What did he say about us? Some of the other videos were more of Carragher than him

Sorry should have said they are identifying potential candidates to be the next manager.
-
The club has said that they have a 'continuity' process in place whereby they are potential candidates to be the next manager. Regarding Neville, he has been quoted by Sky Sports as saying 'I'm not going to say where I want to end up, and it isn't in management or head coaching, so I want to be clear about that'
-
Well two managers who should not be on the list are Steve McLaren (based on current and past form) and Gary Neville (based on current form)

Confirmed: Caulker loan cancelled; Moves on loan to Liverpool

Maybe Klopp is rewarding him for helping Liverpool progress into the next round -

Guan - some questions: Why is this information being leaked to a forum and not raised with Kat/Ralph etc. and what is the purpose of leaking it? Do the Board consider relegation is probable if the slump continues? Do the various departments & LR accept that the youngsters are not good enough?
-
Would be a tough choice between 'Arry, Neil Warnock and Malky Mackay. Pity Steve McLaren and Neil Lennon are already employed.
-
Seem to remember Poch saying that Spurs had better academy players than Saints soon after he joined Spurs.

Often wondered if the Toby situation was a turning point for the club and Koeman. Sign Toby and it would have made a big statement to our team that we can keep the top players. To lose Toby to a non-CL club (as they were then), just made me realise how hard it is going to be to build a good team whilst losing the top players.

Anyone who P*mpey are playing. I foolishly said that I'd support Brighton if Rupert Lowe came back and then he did! - so I dd support them for a bit but Saints were in my heart.

From the Mail VICTOR WANYAMA Southampton to Tottenham - £20m Talks took place on Saturday and, with Southampton short of players, cash plus Erik Lamela on loan could be the offer that makes Wanyama's move happen. The 24-year-old Kenyan is Tottenham's priority after signing Son Heung-min from Bayer Leverkusen and has told Southampton he wishes to leave the club. Verdict: Worth a gamble Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3215636/Paul-Pogba-David-Gea-Gareth-Bale-Fabio-Borini-10-big-deals-make-difference-window-draws-close.html#ixzz3kHQb9Enc Follow us: @MailOnline on Twitter | DailyMail on Facebook

CONFIRMED - Virgil Van Dijk joins on Five Year Deal

Maybe the club now think that VVD is rubbish and are looking elsewhere. Better to dodge a bullet now -

I also believe that our failure to attract Toby was a pivotal issue for the club. Had we signed him it would have shown that it is possible for a club like ours to sign 'top six' players and thus raised our profile. I'm not sure whether it was entirely the club's fault though. By all accounts Toby's head was turned by the other Spurs Belgian players at the internationals and so he may have always going to chose them over us.
