I agree. Brett would be a welcome addition to the squad even at 33. A great squad player with a great attitude.

I am not agreived about it......I just think that its better to support our own team rather than to slag off other teams. Its an attitude that I prefer.

This man should be working for Saints. We need to toughen up the reserves/ young players and this man has the right attitude !!!

When i bored I think about the Tin man and his gaol against arsenal. He could have been a great player for the saints in another dimension. When I am really bored I like to remember Jason Dod scoring from a corner against pompey... But, When I am super bored I like to remember Riise own goal when we beat liverpool in january 2002. He had a habit of scoring own goals!!! ( as per chelsea).......at this point I start thinking - "who has scored the most own goals in top flight history". Would benali be in there?

Anyone excited about saints best chance to get to wembley since the Zenith data cup final. I really liked that day out ( if not the result). It would be tremendous for the new owner especially if we took 40k people. Would show he made the right choice. We need to get there first mind. Lets make sure we do the "guvner"

I hate it when people tak about portsmouth. We are saints fans. we should only worry about saints, not what some club down the road is doing. This also goes for singing anti portsmouth songs, IMHO our songs should be about supporting the saints and the players on the pitch. this has the best chance of helping saints do well.....we should not be drawing attention to other teams - it helps no-one. Just MHO

When I hear the name Anders Svensson. I smile. Its a nice smile. A very decent player. He seemed a decent bloke and a good professional. he reminds me of some of the best footy saints have played in the last 15 years as a team ( not one player - MLT). A team under WGS

Havinga full ground. Its so depressing seeing the stadium half full. I believe this impacts the team at home as we have nowhere like the atmosphere that could/should be generated. Look at man city 30k+ attendences when they were in league 1. A bit depressing really !!!

Scott Bevan is also at Torquay. A family member in torquay tells me that Poke ousted Bevan last season but in is opinion the keepers are of similar quality

We could do with someone like Matt Oakley in our team. Matt used to link up the front with the back and spread the ball around. When he was not in the team we would notice it.....similar to how we play now - little fluency and composure. Our team would also look better with the likes of cranie, Blackstock, Best in it. All players we brought through our youth system and then let go !!!

I missed the hihglihgts. Was showing some passion myself at the time !!!

This is the first time I have stated any MLT failings. So have not been continuous. I have also not tried to get people to change thier mind about him. just stated my interpretation of parts of the book etc I know he is not perfect, and he is still a saints hero of mine and someone that will be forever in my memories due to my affection of saints and what he acheived for us. most Genious have failings.....look at gazza, george best, maradonna etc etc. ( I like all of them too - even maradonna)
