I think he could be a special player for a league 1 side but he will never be good enough for us sadly. As for Reed, i think he could play a bit further up,like as a alternative to Classe, but not in the Defensive Mid position. Hes too small and light and yesterdays game really made that clear for all to see.

I just don't get the point of having Tadic and Redmond come on when 3-0 down. Why not start them? Have more influence on the game then. Didn't think Gardos was too bad considering. Sims looks like he could be useful. Hojberg looks so ponderous at times.Gives the ball away far too often from an important position which, when playing the counter attack of a team like Arsenal, is suicidal. Other players were very meh. Isgrove needs to go. For the sake of his own career.

So are we not bothering with our transfer rumours anymore?
-
Unbelievably dull made a thousand times worse by the fact the questions are all about Man U!
-
The main issue with this is that whenever it is known that the manager of a club will be leaving, the performances are almost certainly affected negatively. Wee Gordon for us and Pellegrini this season spring to mind straight-away. I would be amazed if he doesnt sign a new contract and still sees out next season.

According to The times, wanyama trained but is not included in the squad today.

Is anyone still defending James Ward-Prowse?

The new Matt Oakley? -
Am i the only one who thinks he is getting away with blame? All the players that have left over the past 14 months and other players wanting to leave. Toby was there to be convinced to stay but didn't. Clyne dragged it out....My point is, Is he too Weak to be a leader? It feels that there isnt a link between the supporter and the players anymore because as soon as we have a player we love,he is sold and a new, cheaper, inexperienced one comes in his place.

This. And Les Reid gets far too many plaudits. He is weak.A soft touch for players who want to move on.
-
Defensively we are an utter shambles
-
Agree 100%.Unless we show more ambition or win a trophy, this will happen possibly with the exception of Jay Rod. Wanyama has already hinted he wants to move at some point and we know Mane can cause a fuss when he wants to.

Every comment i read stated that he is good but no where near the quality of Big Vic -
Might give it a go then! Will go for the one day trial I think. How much is it?

I also have the sportsmania addon installed (formerly sportsnationhd) for the football. Is the Sportsmania worth the fee? I have it installed on my kodi box etc but have been reluctant to purchase a subscription. Are the streams good and stable? Cheers!

So I came on here to see who we are linked with and all I see is comments about Alpine. I've no idea who he is and what he might be doing wrong but, please, could we just use this topic for the bulls&@t football transfer rumours for which it was intended? I like this page for just that reason!

Compared to last season,up front is very much stronger than last season what with Juanmi and Jay-Rod plus the likes of Mane,Tadic and Pelle having a decent break and no mid season international competitions. Its the lack of Forster,Toby and Morgan that makes things interesting!
-
Its an interesting view.I was more thinking of the times when we need something special rather than everyone just shooting though. All our long range shooting and set pieces have gone to pot since Lambert left

Still dream of a goalscoring midfielder who can score from distance. With our knack of passing it round in the box,it would be great to have a Sigurdsson type to threaten from outside with a bullet on target.

Austin to West Ham odds on now. Some have suspended betting apparently

Couldn't see this anywhere so thought id post it http://www.soka25east.com/revealed-victor-wanyama-to-stay-put-at-southampton/ The speculations over a possible Victor Wanyama move away from Arsenal have been quashed and the matter put to rest Soka25east.com can reveal. After long and arduous speculations that had linked Wanyama to a move to Arsenal, the Kenyan skipper has decided he will play the 2015/2016 season at Southampton putting paid to the hopes of many Arsenal fans who had hoped for that the strong, agile and no nonsense midfielder would join them. A close source close to the player who sort anonymity intimated to Soka25east.com “Wanyama will not be leaving Southampton at all he is happy on how coach Ronald Koeman has integrated him to the team making him playing a key role while the club has provided a good home for him.He is looking at the long term and yes he would one day like to move but you do not turn your back at a team which has stood by you.Wanyama feels there is time for everything”he said Southampton lost many of their key players in the 2013/2014 season including manager Pochettino however Ronald Koeman has been silently speaking to the players to dissuade them from leaving a call that has been honoured by many players who are happy with him at the helm. Wanyama helped inspire Kenya to a brave 1-1 draw away to Congo in an Africa Cup of Nations 2017 qualifer on Sunday. Victor Wanyama has been a key cog in the Southampton defence playing a spoilers role in the traditional formation where class is laced with quality.
