I am enjoying this season because we are watching lads proud to wear our shirt and putting in the work for an honest manager. I did not enjoy our years in the Championship as nobody generally gave a Sh1t on or off the field. I always enjoyed the EPL because if we were beaten it was generally by recognisable players. In conclusion quite happy to watch any team that puts it in for the support.

That's the art of online rumourmongering !

Does this happen to anyone else, or is it just me?

Moments you like to remember whilst bored...

Of course Pahers v Everton, Camara v Norwich and MLT v Arsenal. Also having to avoid the low level beams in the top corridor above the changing rooms when buying some half time sustinence and the general chaos in that area with people going in all directions. -
Thanks TS. Papa was awesome tonight.

The Spirit of Southampton is well and truly alive. Best moments since Stern John against Sheff United. Grantn Holt got just what he deserved - absolutely nothing. Bart Awesome. Still dont know who got the equaliser(?) Loved the kids scuttling around the bovine stewards, all part of the panto - he's behind you !!!

It's like deja vu all over again!

I could not get our old 'season ticket' seats against Norwich and we sat in an area where Hammond and Pardew were constantly being berated and the game was 'crap'. I suppose every club has lobotomised fans who matron allows out every Saturday.

Not since we moved to St Marys CM.

As I mentioned, local authorities post all details of all applications in the public domain and do not withhold addresses as these people's comments need to be seen to be considered - and then rejected as irrelevant ! Otherwise any agent who submits a contentious application, Architects or planning consultancies, would need to employ 24 hour security. My practice has submitted hundreds of applications for various clients over the years and have never had any problems with our fellow citizens - we're rational, civilised, democratic and British after all.
-
As posted earlier, under the planning portal all comments submitted about a planning application submitted to a local authority are posted on that applications website. Nothing new there, and in a democracy I believe quite correct. (There are far more contentious applications submitted than an extension to a training ground, eg Marchwood incinerator)

All the best andrew40 and Sophie, a long process but she is clearly loved and well looked after by those around her. Keep the faith KR

Another ex Saint to be considered for coaching our neighbours' mediocre talent to another qualifying failure? The vet himself : http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/internationals/8402689.stm

Cant see Pardew mysteriously dropping Lambert or Connolly like Burley did with Rasiak when he was the division's top scorer. I reckon still one of the most bizarre decisions, up there with the Dutch experiment etc.

As a subscriber to the Architect's Journal and Building Design magazines I can confirm it's called 'sustainability'. Timber cladding being a sustainable material.
-
It's Gulliver in the land of minnows until we get out of this Division. Great at the moment but we'll soon become unpopular with the other clubs when we start increasing the expenditure to buy our way out .

Winning ugly - something we haven't seen at St Marys for many a year. COYR

Well maybe not Leeds or Norwich, but anyway.....

FF- No probs with the differing views and expectations on this forum, its what we all enjoy. Me - I enjoy the journey rather than the arrival. Once the season ends we move on, where ever we are !
-
Nick G- I agree, after so many seasons of total dross, our record over the last 11 games have cheered me up. FF- in the context of world football, or even what we had under WGS, it is probably grasping at a small ray of hope, but I believe after several false dawns over the last few seasons we have bottomed out. Yes, I was one of those looneys who still thought we could get a point when the board went up after 90 minutes against Brighton. It's that optimism that I have lacked for the last six years!
-
If you are recognised as a consistent goalscorer then other teams will pay more attention to you. By doubling on Lambert space is created for Connolly and others to exploit. No probs there then .
-
Ah, fair point Nick !! Did it cross the line ?

In answer to the original question, except in age groups below and including Under 10, you get one attempt to throw the ball correctly. Any other effort is a foul throw and the opposing team restart the game with a throw in.
