Not when asking them a direct question!

Absolutely spot on, I am a season ticket holder for 25 years, watching football for over 50. The game has gone in this country with money / other countries' investment killing it. Leicester was a one off, and the days of us, Forest, Ipswich and other successful provincial teams is long gone. The model Saints follow to get the youngsters and selling them on is probably the correct one, but as a fan it is now hard to hang your hat on eleven half interested overpaid people you have never met.

If you don't know what you don't know, then you cannot do much about it. Lopetegui, Emery and Jones competing in the best league in the world - what chance did we have?
-
Sadly Saints 'downward spiral' commenced when Graziano was replaced by a lumbering 1970s throw back style of half ars*d centre forward who tore ligaments if he got out of second gear....
-
The problem is we need Salisu on the end of his throw ins. It was evident yesterday no other Saint is tall enough to get a flick on
-
I miss read that and thought of Dennis Rofe - the art of cone placement has gone down hill ever since he left

(Tomas ?) Pekhart on for Legia v Leicester. The commentator mentioned he was the top scorer in the Polish League last season. Ah the memories of those dark days after relegation.

I believe we were the first club to install LED floodlighting at their stadium
-
Of course they are getting all the abuse. They have one job- to ensure tickets are issued to those that have paid for them. How they choose to do it is their responsibility.

Hopefully the RFID has a tracker to craftily arrive in my pocket as I walk towards the stadium next Sunday, and before I go to vent my feelings at some unsuspecting ticket office junior
-
I got this : "This order includes tickets loaded onto RFID card(s). Please make sure you have written down the ticket's information, or print this page." Being a long term season ticket holder (old) I have no idea what a RFID card means and quite frankly don't want to. Why not just send us the bloody season tickets ?

So with one week to go, we get some half cock and totally irrelevant email, but have yet to receive our season tickets - what a shambles.
-
Very easy - go through the payment process and you have an option to use all the credit accumulated over the last couple of seasons

It is a big black boxy car like a Cayenne, reg F0NT3. A Bentley Bentayga ? Hope this helps !
-
Good player, but still a bit of a day dreamer during games
-
He must still live somewhere in Sussex as he drives up the A21/M25/A2 to the Ebbsfleet Eurostar station. Unless someone else has a Porsche reg no F0NT3 ( I think it was as it passed in a blur !). Coaching role ?

Anyone starting to look nervously at the table?

I don't think the OP was looking nervously over his shoulder them - after all we had just beaten Liverpool on 4th January. -

With one game left, our position on 29 points ( on February 14th) still looks good enough to keep us up... -
I saw the Man City game, which was after the Sheffield United game so I think you prob have a better chance than me

When this thread started we had 29 points. Currently, nearly three months later, none of the bottom three sides have reached 29 points ( or even 28 points ). -
What has become apparent, and will get more difficult once we are all allowed back in the stadiums, is how dependent the team are upon Ralph's constant coaching from the sideline. Although it has not been very successful since Christmas. I believe what we desperately need are a couple of leaders on the field - a centre back like Claus or Fonte; and a central midfield organiser - even a goat grazing in the centre circle with the game passing him by both ways - maybe with JWP and Diallo as runners. A Jimmy Case or Chris Marsden type character. There must a couple of older players with a couple of years left in them coming to the end of their contracts.
-
There seem to be so many 'reporters' , podcasts etc these days that just recycle information from other sources. Just listen to Ralph's pressers and pick up on what Adam Blackmore mentions and I think you get the majority of what you need to know...

Sam Wallace latest Saints Telegraph article
Kingsland Red replied to SuperSAINT's topic in The Saints
Welcome back Roger. A very balanced post and I totally agree with the comments you make. What worries me most about Saints is that the status quo will not remain in place. Ralph will become disillusioned; and the best players start to be sold to raise funds - Ings, Bertrand, maybe JWP etc etc. We need an owner who understands the constant improvements required to compete in the EPL. Otherwise we drift back down a division or two, which is crazy for a club like Saints, if only based on the size of the city and support across the south. -
Poch's first match at PSG v (Puel's ) St Etienne on BT Sport now

Always a pleasure to watch Charlie wandering around the pitch pointing to where other players should be , but more comfortable now he's the on field traffic warden at another club.
