Well Jack Cork was off to palace for 3m a week or two ago and he's still here, Ramirez was also off to Seville on loan a few days ago, he's still here. Might well happen but these other ones were 'as good as done' in some people's eyes yet they're still with us!

I'm willing to give him time but for me it was that everything he won bounced off him and came to nothing, poor touch and or passing but lets hope it improves. I think he would be more useful as an impact sub

I'm not against the board, but Kruger categorically said Morgan and Jay will be at southampton after the window closes. If they aren't then I'll be very annoyed. If they are he kept his promise and can't be branded a liar.

Spurs likely to step up interest in Jay and Morgan. Clubs surely interested in Cork. Will they build up some trust from us after the window shuts or will they break their promises (again) and have even more people question if they are competent enough to run the club?

He doesn't trouble that many teams, unless by trouble you mean shoot from distance and not score. Maybe Redmond isnt a goal threat because Norwich don't have good passers in the team and rarely had more possession than the opponents they had last season. Whereas Townsend is in a team full of good passers and a team that always has a lot of possession. Swap those players around and I think you'd see a Redmond have a far bigger impact than Townsend does.

Redmond has the potential to be brilliant IMO, Townsend.. not so much

I put pompey in my 4 team acca to win the league outright EW along with Sheffield United, Bournemouth (long shot I know) and Chelsea. Can see them getting top 3 at least this season, weirdly I'm quite glad it seems that it might work out for them, each league will be a big step up for them though and if they get to the championship I think they would struggle to stay there.

Can we please get a quality winger in with pace... My kingdom for a quality winger with pace
