Because we still won't have a out n out goal scorer, Rodriguez got most of his from the left, Pelle is our 'Target man', Long isn't going to get more than 10 goals a season n plays wide most of the time. I might be being greedy but if you say Jay Rod, Long and Juanmi mostly play wide or behind the front man that leaves Pelle as our only player who regularly plays the lone striker role!

Roy Hodgson warns Clyne over attitude in response to Slovenia game

“If I were to play him and leave out Phil Jones there would have been a lot of questions about ‘Don’t you rate Phil Jones?’ and ‘Don’t you think he’s a man of the future?’ No Roy, there wouldn't. -

John Cross is a right Jebend and so is Hodgson. No proof whatsoever that "he stormed" down the tunnel. He probably just wasn't in the mood to celebrate a meaningless win when he's only played a few minutes and had a poor centre half + central midfielder picked ahead of him for both games, even though he's the best english RB by a mile. Absolutely baffling decision from Hogdson not to start him in either game let alone both! -
http://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/charlie-austin/club-after-summer-transfer-window Newcastle's odds gone from 1-7 on to 2-1 now on par with Chelsea (where I can't see him going to if he wants to play) Perhaps the 'agent talks' didn't go so well. Most likely destination bar them is us or West ham now. West Ham as low as 3-1 at betfred but we are both 6-1 at Ladbrokes.

Mike Ashley isn't exactly going to blow us out the water in wages, could throw in the coverted sports direct mug though that could sway things in Newcastles favour
-
Hopefully Borini and Balotelli will refuse to leave so they will be stuck with all these mediocre strikers and an injured Sturridge, not Lambert though I want him to move on for the sake of his short career left. Also Ings also has the potential to be injured often so hopefully they'll have to start the season with Balotelli and Borini anyway

All I got to say is, a Nelson Muntz style "haha"

Austin is 1/7 on to join Newcastle whereas we can be as high as 7/1. Suggests Newcastle are close to signing him. Certainly a lot closer than us

Surprised Song is odds on already, does someone know something

Anyone going to the Gronigen game?

Different type of midfielders. Grealish is a Lallana type player, James Ward-Prowse certainly isn't. James should be aspiring to be as good or as close as possible to Scholes. Grealish as good as Joe Cole (in his prime).

Krueger: The Europa League is not a negative for Southampton

Probably goes over most football pundits heads... -
And Henry and Bergkamp were signed from Italy, but they were sold because they didn't play well there whereas players like Veron Aquilani and Maccrone were signed for big money after impressing in Italy yet flopped in England. I also maintain Balotelli overall was a flop for City, was the weak link in many loses and Dzeko, Tevez and Aguero were all picked ahead of him
-
Which is why I said you could argue he's been the most successful in recent times
-
That will never happen though. Unless we have a city style takeover which will render our club plastic with players like Yaya Toure.
-
I think Jason McCarthy will be second choice RB this season, after all we do want to eventually have a team with half of our own in.

50m of United's huge 150m transfer kitty for Clyne and Morgan please. Would be so much better than selling another player to Liverpool or even Arsenal for that matter. Its good to spread ex first 11 players out a bit. lol

This table looks dodgy as, City 4th? Above Barcelona, West Ham 16th! Us 18th! Above Dozens of huge european clubs. Smells a bit fishy to me.
