Disney’s the best of the lot tbh. Back on the BBC - credit where it’s due - Green Planet was superb.

I'd imagine the fallout of Evergrande has hit his businesses / investments hard.

All hail our new sports-entertainment conglomerate owners. They love this club, and the general concept of football as an investment vehicle.

My test was negative so it’s not Covid apparently, despite similar symptoms to omicron. It is a bit ironic that if the result had been positive I would need to isolate, but as it stands I am free to go to Tesco and cough on people - and honestly the symptoms of whatever I have have been really nasty, worst thing I’ve had for years. It even got my wife, and she never gets I’ll.

I feel fucking awful. Been coughing my guts up since Boxing Day. LFT’s have all been negative but I went for a PCR yesterday cause I have all the symptoms, so we’ll see. If it’s not covid, they should prioritise making a vaccine for whatever it is I have cause it’s shit 😀

Very good 👍 -
I do hate posting the telegraph, but it’s a good article relating to the ‘5k deaths per day’ models… https://apple.news/AjQydK2ObT_CadiybX8uXeg

Why of course, wasn't that obvious from my comment? 🤔

Boosters for 18 million people over the next 19 days? If you work in the NHS I hope you like working 24 hrs a day, including Christmas. Boris is a fucking moron.

Boris playing a blinder, etc. -
Looks like a game to miss. Glad I did.

Ours ended last month. Bad timing The best advice currently is to remain on your variable rate until prices normalise. Most suppliers have removed fixed price offering or increased their prices to such an extent that they offer no benefit over the variable rate. Not a good solution but at least we can still benefit from the existing cap. I spend a fortune on my electricity/fuel anyway, so it’s just a cost I have to bear.

Which 90s band are you regretting the last 25-30 years over?

I'm confused by this thread. Reading it makes me feel like I have a brain injury. -
Lesbians are TERFs if they don't like cocks apparently... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-57853385

That, inflation & quantitative easing.

More and more, I'm finding myself in a world of polarised views where I barely understand each opposing side's arguments. I feel like Grandpa Simpson.

Fair point, but the same could be said of stocks also. Point was, a 3 year locked-in ISA would have yielded around 3% YoY, barely keeping up with inflation, which many would see as the ‘sensible’ choice.

Funny looking back in this. Anyone who bought in at the time of this quote 3 years ago would be nearly 10x today.

Christ, I'm assuming this is some sort of offshoot and not a proper thread? @Lighthouse would have been better off binning it than spawning whatever this is. If the topic is TUI, I've never used it because the site design and user experience is probably one of the worst I've ever seen, on par with Geocities circa 1996. Bye.

Pretty appalling, but money talks. Criminals and despots can do as they please as long as they have enough cash to splash.
