There was a vote on people with private health insurance not being allowed to used the NHS?
-
Apparently they have removed it an apologised. Its absolutely incredible that it got released in the first place. The times we live in, any idiot with a crayon set can post their scrawls for the entertainment of other idiots.

I believe examples would be useful here. Who is the target? EDF? Shell? Bayer? What is the action to be taken?

It's not 'some companies', its the entire world economy and the culture that has formed it. I've personally driver over 1000 petrol powered miles in the last month in order to feed an house my family, I couldn't have walked that. This is how the world works, and its something we are all guilty of, unless anyone here can honestly say they take 2 showers a week, only eat what they grow, and travel everywhere on foot.

It’s very confusing reading the comments on here. I’m assuming there are a few who are giving up their cars and moving to a subsistence lifestyle, considering the scorn they are dishing out? Or is it just another opportunity to score points without any real conviction?

Love my kids with all my heart but I have smacked them in the past. Not proud of it, wish I hadn’t. When I did, it was because one has hurt the other, but that’s no excuse. My dad smacked the **** out of me, hopefully he regrets it but I don’t hold it against him.

They made it to the BBC, horse punching fish ****ers. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-49823006

You're the manager. Your choice of team and formation is...

Man City, whatever formation they feel like. -
Sorry old bean but it appears some subtlety has been lost here. It’s not racist to dress up as Mr. T, because he is a defined character, there is no prejudiced interpretation involved. It may be ‘offensive’, but that’s a different argument. It is however racist to black up in order to portray a caricature of a race, as it will reflect a prejudice - something your own example explicitly states.

I did know that. The Atlantic seaboard is the only place the common bluebell grows. Did you know, that if Earth was the size of a basketball, all the water in the world would amount to two teaspoons.

The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

It’s an interesting lead measure which will tell in the polls over the medium term. The ERG are warming their hands on the embers if the Tory party. -
The chair of Orpington conservative association was on Radio 4 earlier talking about Jo Johnson. While JJ was a remainer, this guy was a dyed in the wool Brexiteer, however he heaped praise on JJ, saying he was a fantastic MP and despite their differing views he was very sorry to see him go. When asked directly if he preferred Boz or Jo, he sided with Jo unequivocally. It was a really refreshing interview. So nice to hear comment that don’t just parrot factional cliches. What a shame to see such a well regarded MP leave a role he loved.

Yes I put cart before horse. Likelihood of a second ref / manifesto commitment for GE by libdems / labour then?
-
Oh, what a shame. My idiot MP voted for May’s deal, however she voted against the motion last night. Fair to say, I think she will be gone come the next election / by-election.
-
So, who can tell me what the chances are of revoking article 50 are now? Would this be a Labour / LibDem policy commitment in a GE?
-
Had to be done, sorry.

Exactly right, and interestingly the non-partisan, unaffiliated community now apparently outweigh the sectarians, and their appetite for unification has never been tested. Nick, I think you are behind the times. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/aug/15/how-the-neithers-could-decide-northern-irelands-political-fate

Perhaps optimistic given that Macron has told him to **** off. An answer here is to give N Ireland back to the Irish, or at least commit to a referendum, which will likely result in a unity vote. I'm sure the EU (Ireland) would be keen. From the British perspective, we deserve all the punishment we get after voting for such a simplistic idea with no concept of the fallout. Embarrassingly typical.

I like to get a disgusting cheese burger from one of the mobile units outside the ground. It’s generally swimming in grease and flat as a pancake, but it really is the only time I ever get to eat that kind of shît, so I grab the opportunity with both hands. The flavour and texture takes me back to my childhood and the BSE burgers of the 80s. Just a little vice.
-
Exactly this. I was tempted to buy 3 the other day, then I saw the price. At £65 they can **** off. I’ll watch it for free online instead.

Yeah. We just don’t have that.

Quite right, apologies for my pedantry!
