I think the point here is that from the replay, it appears the defender changed the direction of the ball (so it would have been saved off the line) and then knocked it with his ankle, which put it back on goal again.

Totally agree. Horrible place, nasty team. All about brute force.

No I'm not looking to supplement my income, just making an observation. Academy lads, conspicuous by their absence from both the starting line up, and the bench (Reed being the exception). We had a strong starting eleven, and a strong bench, but it feels a different approach from last year, when the goal appeared to be starting academy players whenever possible. So is this a a symptom of the summer losses, an indication of a more calculated approach to league success, an indication of the strength in depth we now possess, or something else entirely?
