  1. Warmed the cockles of my heart!.
  2. Thank feck for that. He might well earn Hughes 2mil.
  3. Cant say I'm overjoyed but there was little choice. Obviously I hope he does well and can muster some magic from somewhere.
  4. He probably feels isolated off the field as well as on it now.
  5. I thought Pellegrino was bad enough, but not one shot on target yet from saints under Hughes.
  6. Agree with all of this but who else is there?. No manager currently out of work has a great track record.
  7. Have been dead against the possible Hughes appointment but after reading the comments and fors and against on here I feel that he is perhaps our best option atm. I don't like his brand of football but that is not important now, staying up is.
  8. Leave it till the summer and Rodgers will pick a bigger club ie Everton or similar.
  9. Dear God, if Hughes becomes manager get set for some more negative dross on the pitch, we need that like a bloody hole in the head.
  10. Silva but I think he has his eye on bigger prizes. Potter would be a shout but he is idolised where he is so might be hard to tempt him away. Rogers, same as Potter really but might be tempted by a return to the premiership. Adkins, probably too soon after taking Hull job.
  11. A big relief that the peril has gone, way way way too late though and I fear the damage has been done. Please God not Hughes, as far as management is concerned he has the look of failure about him now.
  12. I don't, likes the sound of his voice too much when co commentating.
  13. Agreed, but the board have played a big part in this as Pellegrino showed nothing in his portfolio to suggest he could do a job here, they tried to strike lucky again as they did with Poch and it has backfired massively. Secondly, their reluctance to get shot of him when it was patently clear he was not up to the job is negligent to say the least, and to continue that stance is disastrous. Yes Pellegrino is totally unsuitable and way way out of his depth, but the board hired him and in my book they should take the lion share of blame.
  14. At the end of the season I can just hear "In fairness we gave Pelligrino a whole season just as we did Puel but unfortunately things have not worked out, we will now take this opportunity to rebuild and do our utmost to return to the premiership as soon as possible". Players will leave (Not a bad thing, they are partly responsible), Pelligrino will be sacked (Partly responsible), Board will stay on (Partly responsible but immune from any consequences.
  15. Sums him up, hope Sky sack the annoying t.wat.
  16. More likely the latter to be fair.
  17. Kat must hold some responsibility surely, am I correct in saying that she said that the club needed further investment to take us to the next level?, and that she would leave us in safe hands?. WTF
  18. I am finding it really bizarre why Reed and co are being so elusive and inactive in all of this mess. Here we are throwing away everything the club worked for in the last few years and it’s about to go down the pan and yet nothing, nada, zilch from any of them, even the sickening sound bytes have disappeared, I mean, what the f*ck is going on. Ffs someone stand up and be counted and try and save the situation, if Reed or any of the other clueless ****s do not have the balls why doesn’t the owner step up and tell them that they will not be allowed to screw up his investment, so f*cking sort it out. I am utterly stunned at this clubs stance atm.......bastards.
  19. Come on Reed you thick dull bastard, grow a set and do the right thing and then f*ck off yourself.
  20. Is it Les Reed with an axe in his coat.
  21. Unfair to single out one player when they are all collectively sh*t.............Sims aside.
  22. There all bastards basically.
