I remember the good ole days when you knew exactly who to crucify.
-
oddly enough, I have just seen Zinedine Zidane in the Joiners Arms setting up the PA.
-
I suppose the powers that be (whoever they are) will see this result as a sign of improvement and deem it not necessary to sack Hughes or to strengthen the squad in January. You just know it!!.
-
Was impressed with Armstrong but it was only Israel after all, but he should be given a longer run in the saints first team.

I would run for the hills if I were you.

Saints to give £250,000 to Gift to Richard Scudamore
Saint Billy replied to Hatch's topic in The Saints
Disgusting and sickening. Just another indication how money is killing the game. -
It does make you wonder who is calling the shots here. We really do need someone like Cortese to come in and shake it up and make sense of the mess, but whilst Ralph and Kat hang on to their cosy status that won't happen. Wouldn't it be interesting if the Chinese connection that Cortese mentioned way back was indeed Gao, but I suspect not.
-
I’m not even bothering reading Ralph’s statement, I can guess the meaningless chunder coming out of his mouth.
-
If Kat still has a say that will never happen unfortunately.

Meh

Well it's a start, but the mess Reed has left has to be sorted, good luck with that.

At least four of those jobs you mention fat Sam was sacked from, christ, I would not stand a chance going to interviews with that CV, and we won't even mention why he was sacked from the England job. Appointing FS would just be another repeat of the Hughes appointment with the same end result. To be fair, he is no mug, he has earned an absolute fortune from being sacked and can sit most seasons out without doing a hard day's work. Let's drag ourselves out of the dark ages of football and find a young manager who understands the modern game and is hungry for success rather than the has been merry-go-round.
-
Because no one else wanted the job at the time, hopefully a mistake we wont make but can’t guarantee it.
-
If Sam was that good why do clubs get shot of him, yes, he might have that certain ability to keep clubs up but they soon get tired of his dire style of football. I would rather us go down, re-structure with a young up and coming manager rather than going down the route of changing one dinosaur for yet another dinasaur resulting in the same outcome.

The usual names being mentioned in the media, Moyes and Fat Sam. Dear God, would the numpties seriously look at those two failures too replace the existing one.
-
Brenda Rogers is about the only one that remotely offers anything for me, and that prospect doesn't exactly get my juices flowing.
-
I wish saints could get goals like they do driving bans.
-
Personally I wouldn't refer to the players you have mentioned as leaders, loyal servants maybe but not leaders. If they no longer add anything different to the squad what's the point in playing them. As for leaders, Hojbjerg is the only one in my opinion that comes close to a leader.
-
Whatever they do it will be probably too late as per norm.

The trouble is that most of us go to games anticipating a poor display and a crap result, we hardly ever turn over the bigger clubs now and usually struggle against clubs around us. Without drastic changes within the club things will only get worse. What infuriates me mostly is the huge amount of money the club has wasted on poor player purchases and yet no one is being held accountable. I still enjoy football in the main as a spectical ie the World Cup, but am loathed now to shell out funds on watching prima donnas, with no allegiance to the club, not bothered if they play or not attempt to kick a ball about, owned by someone I've seen twice, and run by complete imbeciles.
-
I’ve protested twice today. Do your bit saints fans and eat plenty of fibre.
-
I’m protesting on a regular basis now, first thing in the morning sat on the toilet I imagine who’s heads I am crapping on. This will continue until they leave and stop doing the very same to the true supporters of the club. I vow that my protest will continue until the job is done.
-
I’m sure I remember back in the good old days that Paul Allen stated that he was never interested in purchasing Saints. I'm sure Franks Cousin will verify.

Someone better tell the guy strapped to the buoy doing the Solent yacht watch that it’s all over. R.I.P fella.

Oh well, beggars can’t be choosers.
