Who mentioned financial year?. Over the last 2/3 seasons we have wasted vast amounts of money for a club our size on players, some of which are still owned by us because no other club will pay anything close to what we did. Hardly pearl clutching when we are left with a side barely capable of keeping us in the prem and with little to no budget to improve the squad, probably due to our past negligent overspending on players like Eylounoussi.

If any other business lost 66m I would like to know what happened to the person responsible.

Hopefully Ralph won't fall out with anyone this week and he has a full squad to play out of position.

Ralph is the best we can hope for atm, we are not credible enough to temp anyone better. We haven't got a Cortese selling the bright future to a potential managers any more, just some unknowns offering nothing but self sustainability.

As bad as our defence is, all this tinkering and constant changing of players and positions is not helping in the slightest. Pick your best defence and stick with it giving the players time to settle and gel with their team mates. Atm it's pretty much a changed defensive lineup every game.

Wow, listened to the commentary on 5 live with Pardew as co commentator and they were extremely complementary abouts saints performance, obviously from reading this they were badly wrong. Tbh, we should of got at least a point playing against 10 men for so long.

This is an observation not particularly regarding football ability, but the Bournemouth side looked more athletic and fitter than us. In general our bunch looked like a team of plodders.

It seems to be common practice now that Ralph gets selection and positions wrong at start of games, and it only until he sorts his initial mess out that we start playing any sort of football.

I stand by my comments, well, almost.

He can have a blue rinse for all I care as long as he stays up there.

Good result. The ref got it right for once on all the crucial decisions which helped. Loved the goal, what a welcome relief to see some skill and magic within our ranks for once, that coupled with Boufal, christ we are being spoilt. Everyone else worked hard in a game I thought we would not win.
