Thought he had something last season but yesterday was like his head had gone, a truly awful display.

I've had numerous messages, even from people I haven't seen for a very long time. All the content is similar as you can imagine. There is no way I can attempt to excuse that performance so I am just riding with it for now. Unfortunately that game will not be forgotten for a long time, if ever, and is now permanently in the record books, so thanks saints for dumping that on us. Pros and cons, the Saints involved in that carnage will move on eventually and that horror show will be a distant memory for them, but us mere fans will have to live with that stat forever. The pros is that the Saints involved would have moved on and out of this club. Good riddance.

Only part of a very big saints mess but how Romeu escapes critism on here defeats me, he is king of the plodders imo and plays a major part of what must be one of the weakest midfields in saints history.

Agree with you. As much as I love the high press game I don't think this squad can perfect it adequately enough, we lasted 5-10 minutes yesterday causing them problems then either ran out of steam or lost their focus. I think Ralph is struggling to get a mediocre bunch to play the type of game he wants them to play and in desperation tinkers with formation and squad to try and improve things. The buck stops at the top of the chain with their failure to give Ralph the tools to do the job properly.

The first 5 minutes we were excellent, the next 85 were complete excrement. Ralph cut a forlong figure holding that same look as the last three managers before him. What a mess again.
