  1. Well I hope one of these big clubs is fool enough to pay us big bucks for him because he is no good to us being in and out of the side with injuries. The likes of Man City can afford to have a player on the sidelines for half a season, we definitely can't. He kept us up last season but hasn't been the same player since with injuries and his head being elsewhere, so him going is probably going to benefit us more than how it is at the moment.
  2. Leicester looked impressive, we will really have to be at our very best and more to beat them.
  3. For once Redmond showed what he has under the bonnet. Definitely man of the match with Armstrong a close second. Redmond is a frustrating player who has so much ability but only uses it when his head allows him. Hopefully this game will boost his confidence so that he can finish the season on a high. Well done saints, that was a bit more like early season, just keep it going against tougher opposition.
  4. Is he good Evans?
  5. Would there be an uproar if he was interviewed on tv after the game and said the same thing?. Luke Shaw's comment on the other hand is totally disrespectful to the club that gave him his opportunities in football and which basically says alot about him and his brain capacity.
  6. Simon Jordan wouldn't be the worst shout as long as he has some serious backers. As long as he doesn't keep saying "Narrative" all the time like he does on Talk Sport.
  7. before his injury Vestergaard was picking out dangerous long passes to the forward line at will and causing lots of problems. Apart from the odd long pass he has now settled back into the sideways and backwards pass. Is this under instruction or have they lost the confidence to pick out a player now?, or is it that the forward line are not working now to find the spaces?. Something is wrong but you would of thought that the coaching staff would know but apparently not. Personally I think another 9 goals against us in one match has totally killed all confidence and now they are all running scared, oddly enough, with no confidence they all seem to be trying to play the safe ball which more often than not is intercepted by the opposition anyway, so even that is not working.
  8. Yep, after that they were just taking of the piss.
  9. I think it is more of a case of, what funds are available to strengthen the squad?.
  10. Sorry would be a start.
  11. We were nervous in everything we did hence all the square and backward passing and desperately trying not to lose possession, ironically 99 percent of the time we ended up giving them back possession anyway. It was an awful display to witness and unfortunately has highlighted Ralphs inability to get it right. Lovely guy but sorry his days have to be numbered.
  12. I don't mind a loss if Ralph learns from it, but he just keeps on repeating the same failing tactics time after time and seems clueless in being able to turn things around in a game. Ings kept us up last season not Ralph, and now Ings has his mind elsewhere along with his injury problems we are a very poor side who seem to have very little to offer in a relegation dogfight. We might avoid relegation but if there aren't any changes this will only continue into next season and probably get much worse.
  13. Square pass square pass square pass bad final ball.
  14. Far too fucking easy for them.
  15. Some of our defending was like watching a conference side playing Man City, it was embarrassing to see our so called defenders running about like headless chickens just chasing the ball. I am not at all confident that by throwing any chance of getting some sort of result from this game by fielding a disjointed and weakened team will secure us a result against Brighton. Brighton are no pushovers and they will not be overly concerned about playing us considering our form since the Liverpool win. However you look at it, a 5-2 loss is not the best result to carry into your next game and in my book is not great preparation and not motivational in any way.
  16. How many of the advocators of playing a weakened side will be happy if the score stays at 5-2?
  17. Aguerro, god help us.
  18. I thought it was yellow.
  19. If we can keep this down to six our confidence will be high for the Brighton game.
  20. Typical post from you.
  21. Omg, I don't believe this lineup, Ralph is either a wizard or is heading for a nervous breakdown.
  22. I don't fancy us fielding a weakened side although I suspect it will happen. If we do the odds are on a heavy defeat and imo that is the last thing we want or need.
  23. I love those sort of goals, thats how a ball should be struck.
