  1. I'm still angry regarding the sending off. I keep rerunning it in my head and still see it as a good recovery tackle. Perhaps my memory is biased but for me it was not even a yellow and just a damn good tackle that clearly got the ball away. I don't suppose Vardy going down and staying down like he was the first victim of a duck shoot had anything to do with the refs decision 🙄
  2. Well we had some fight and spirit tonight, better late than never. Salisu had a great game. My only gripe apart from the terrible penalty decision is that we are still giving the ball away far too often either by bad passing or poor ball control, otherwise a well earned point.
  3. Farcical decision. Fekin disgusting.
  4. Lopez surely wouldn't pass the fit and proper stuff especially now the FA have tightened up on it, hopefully.
  5. He is no good to us anyway with his injury record. A very good player but that's only helpful if he plays games.
  6. I have not read his remarks and I couldn't care less. It doesn't change the fact that he is one of the most gifted players I have ever witnessed which covers 60 years of watching the very best. He was first the one on my list by a distance.
  7. Are there any owners of other clubs who have vested interest in surrounding property, that is excluding hotels etc attached to the ground?. Not making a point, just interested.
  8. Next they will be standing on each others shoulders forming a pyramid, it might take a while for the freekick to be taken as they'll have to wait until the last man gets to the top but should be effective against low and high shots. To counter the ball in the nuts they will all have to release their grip on the player next to them as the shot is taken which could lead to some issues but at least the ball has missed the goal. Unfortunately it has its down side as there could be a risk of 10 players getting injured at the same time.
  9. I struggle to believe that anyone of any substance is interested in buying saints. Let's face it, we aren't exactly an attractive proposition at the moment.

    Plan B

I'm not sure we even have a plan A now. I agree about the quality of the squad and bench, but this is the same squad that was going great guns early season apart from Romeu, Romeu has proven to be a significant loss as he gave that extra protection to our back line and added some grit in midfield, but surely it cant all be down to missing one player. Personally, I think the squad has run out of steam due to the demands of the high press, fitness levels have dropped and we are not maintaining the format that gave us some success early on. When we slow down we are found out as there is not enough quality there to adopt an alternative way of playing.
  11. I think it might be 20 mill buyout.
  12. Tell Egg that.
  13. Wind your kneck in, I'm only voicing what most of us are thinking having gone through this scenario on numerous occasions. Twat.
  14. We all know what happens 2nd half.
  15. Cheer up bro, we have a lead for a while.
  16. Very wasteful hoofs upfield.
  17. Crystal ball not needed again.
  18. Well the low score against was a surprise but the way we played wasn’t. It was a grim display of which I saw nothing positive from us at all.
  19. Frustrating game, only 1 nil down but we just don't remotely look like scoring.
  20. Two very good sides that nullified eachother today but against us they would be an altogether different prospect, as I suspect Leicester will be as well.
  21. You might be pleased if it's anything like City and Chelsea so far.
  22. What big occasions are you referring to?
  23. Please saints, at the very least do not concede another hatful of goals especially in a FA cup semi final. Us fans have suffered enough piss takes after the 18 goals in two games fiascos. I can deal with say a 3-1 loss but anything worse than that is totally unacceptable and you will all deserve to do the walk of shame through the streets of Portsmouth.
  24. I'm worried about being worried.
  25. Ignore the above posts, for some reason they haven't taken your request seriously, I assume it is because it is a subject we tend to avoid due to the extreme bitterness and rivalry the two sets of fans have held for decades. It pains me to even talk obout those blue few but to assist in your studies over the pond I suggest you look at World War 2 being at the center of this hatred and if you delve into the history of the Spitfire (the sacrifices I have made to write that word down) the more apparent it all becomes. The fact that due to underhand dealings they managed to steal the land from us for the Airport and name it is an outrage especially when it is clearly in the territory of Southampton although they seem to take the M27 as the dividing line, damn them. This is just one example of how deep this rivalry goes but if you study more intensely you will find that the waring goes right back to saxon times when they used blue face paint and us red as depicted by the recently found patchwork with scenes of King of Hampshire Aethelberht Le Tissier who dressed in red and white stripes. After his reign as king ended he was made Le God. hope this helps on your road to discovery.
