Does Southgate have the guts to change things about when two of our best players are on the bench.
-
Not exactly 96 is it.
-
Well then, the sooner someone offers Gao a bribe to sell the club the better.
-
England are missing the trickery and passing skills of Redmond, of that I have no doubt.
-
The biase on here for saints players is embarrassing. I mean, Adams motm!, just because he covered a lot of space and ran his legs off doesn't excuse the fact that once again he missed a couple of golden opportunities to score.
-
This 100%. The Mr Nice and Correct of football. Hopefully this tournament will be his last. Honestly, for the first time ever we have a vast array of talent at England's disposal and yet we have one of the most negative, dullest, unimaginative yes man in charge. And whilst I have my rant hat on, this team played like they have never played together as a unit, why?, because in the main they haven't. The friendly's we play are never used to gel a team but just to try different players out. Result, a waste of time and a waste of opportunity.
-
The amount of talent at England's disposal and we have a sloth managing them.
-
Jesus, have been watching saints play like this most of the season and now we have to endure England playing the same way as well. Bloody Southgate conveys his personality in our playing style.
-
i I get the monetary side of doing it but I bet when he retired from football he didn't envisage doing this in the future. For all the good things technology brings it has also introduced a whole heap of infantile shit with it.

Every game will be tough so not really worried about what order they come in.

Supporting the players in taking the knee

It's now become an habitual thing rather than a meaningful thing. -
Guess who will say this next "Why do you think they haven't tried to sign him? Maybe they have...".

So basically whilst owned by Gao we have to run on a self sustainable basis, so in order to buy we have to sell. We have a few players who are sellable ie Ings, Vest, JWP etc, the problem with that is we are crap with those players so what the hell will we be like with cheaper alternatives.
-
Jesus, you must be Always. Even if you are not your just as irratating. No one's got a biase against JWP, some of us are realistic enough, and without any biase because he is a saints player, to form an opinion that he is not International class, that's all. Some people!!.
-
Most of the pundits did not include JWP either so it's not a surprise. You can't fault JWP for his hard working ethics and his dead ball ability, and before anyone comes out with the childish response that I just don't like him, I do like him as a player for saints but I just don't rate him as highly as some on here do and international quality he is not in my opinion.
-
Got fed up with the sash and not a big lover of stripes but I do like this. Hopefully we don't have the horrible hooped socks back again.
-
He does show glimpses of ability but I think the Premiership is a tough league for players who like to hold the ball and run with it as time and space are in short supply. Anyone who is consistently good at it is snapped up pretty quickly by the bigger clubs anyway so it is a viscous circle.

The Falklands war must share some of the blame surely.
-
Good point!.

I find that a bit rich when he is responsible for some of the debt through paying big sums for players worth nought.

So you are ok with our performances of late, thats fine. I certainly am not. Not one person on here would expect us to perform like 2010 Barcelona but it would be nice to see them trying to. My expectations are not high considering our financial limitations but it would give us all a shot in the arm to at least witness us being more competitive and not caving in so easily. Then there is the 18 goals against us in two games, how the hell can you find that acceptable and then moan at everyone else for not being content with it.
-
I turned off at half time and gave my step son the opportunity to watch his beloved Leeds. First season back in the prem and they are miles ahead of us in every way. It was almost a side by side comparison that painfully emphasized how painfully poor we are at the moment.
-
Are you for real. I would rather watch us in the championship and win more games than be served that up every week in the premiership.
-
Yes, I enjoy pain.
