Shop window, I feel that more priority is being given to showing these players off rather than building a strong team. How can you build a strong team when there are and will be a conveyor belt of players coming and going. How can it benefit us as a unit with a continual change of personell, the only ones who benefit are the player and the team that has loaned him. On sky last night it was mentioned that our lineup in defence was the eighth different combination. Yes I know injuries has played a part, but it does go to show how destructive a constant change in players can be.

That´s what Lowe said at the start of the season. How is that possible? Surman and Lallana may be off in the transfer window if rumours are to be believed. Numerous loan players in is hardly a good basis for building a team. Most of these will be off when the loan expires as we can´t afford to buy them. Surley all he is really doing with our young talent is putting them in the shop window regardless of how results go.

Perhaps the loan arranger may help us to have more than one lone striker:p

Yes I feel we have missed Holmes badly, but even so, it will take a lot more than his inclusion to sort this out. Not convinced that Svensson will ever be fit enough to have an extended run which makes me angry because I feel the defence was overlooked at the start of the season because the powers that be depended too much on the miraculous return of Svensson. This side is simply not good enough. Even the pretty total football is disappearing after witnessing saints aimlessly hoofing it upfield today. We are extremely weak and vulnerable in defence and toothless up front with no creative play in midfield. How we managed to win at Preston last week I will never know.

Preston 2-3 Saints - You've Gotta be Havin' a Laugh
Saint Billy replied to Arizona's topic in The Saints
Well done the lads, keep it going now. Best saturday in ages! -
How about, "If you lose I will confisgate your gameboys".
-
I´m happy with that, only a 3-1 loss this week.
-
Or Maybe, Davies 9 man defence McGoldrick

Perhaps if Lowe stood down it may help. His and the fans relationship is at an all time low and is having a detrimental affect. Let Wiseman for example take up the mantle, just maybe some missing fans might start returning to games, perhaps the fans may be more inclined to support a very poor side and management in its quest for survival.

"The circumstances that led to most of the managers leaving were beyond his control." "Everyone makes mistakes; the art is to learn from them." "Players cannot walk away and the fact their wages are cut means we only have to sell if the price is right. There will be no fire sale or easy pickings here! “We have not agreed to sell Theo. We want to keep him.” “The purpose of developing the best academy in the country is not to sell scholars to larger clubs.” “I'm always sincere even when I'm lying.” “In George and Clive we have got a management team of undoubted quality with strengths in complementary areas, who share the same vision and give us the best chance of returning to the Premier League in the shortest possible time.”

Answered your own gripe there fella. There have been plenty of suggestions and idea's on how to rectify the situation on this board, more I'd say than what seems to be coming out of the mouths of the present board. How about these for a start or have you turned a blind eye. Remove JP as he seems to be clueless. Lowe stop meddling. Don't sell our only proven striker. Bring Skacel back and play him in his correct position. Reduce ticket prices. Open the corners. Don't play MG. Lowe get out. Stop playing the lone striker role. So on and so on.:smt102

Hopefully you will be first on his list.

With this lot, I'm not sure!
-
I wish we played football!
-
I'm still thinking!
-
I admire you if you have any belief left in this lot!

So how does that stand up seeing that the only thing we have won is the FA cup in 1976, other than that we have never done that well really apart from the odd season, but the numbers kept coming. These Sundancian post´s really feck me off!

Ah go on, just a little lynch?
-
That will leave nobody who can actually put the ball in the back of the net then, deep joy!

We Love you Rupert

At least the skates did not get him as had been rumoured.
-
With a team full of the Ars youth we would probably win this league.

Agreed! The cut and paste function must be of great help to Sundance.
