Apparently we are back up for sale again, keep it going guys!! I have heard a little rumour from a close source that Roger Whittaker is planning a bid...................fact!

I might be totally wrong but GS strikes me as the sort of guy whose life is'nt totally governed by the razzle dazzle side of football. He comes across as a down to earth type of guy who loves his family and privacy more than he does his football. There was a rumour that his wife did not want to move back to scotland and enjoyed living in the south and they still have a property here. For those reasons I think it is possible that he might consider coming back here to manage. Perhaps with the financial backing of the new owner, a fanbase that in the main loves him, a home here, it might be enough to temp him. Then again, pompey might even be more of a temptation because it still ticks some of his boxes. Is he the right man I'm not sure, although he got the squad fit, was passionate, called a spade a spade, stabilised the club, some of the football was grim at times, 2003 cup final comes to mind.

We are no longer on the slide so need for Klinsmann.

Funny that, I actually thought that when fit Holmes looked really useful!

I am not even going to guess, these guys have a mind of their own and seem to be pulling out all the stops to get things sorted. Only one day into their reign and I am already comfortable with the way things are going.

To be fair, I have seen a mix of responses by pompey fans to our plight, some supportive and some wanting us to die as a club. I dont think football would be the same if either club went out of business. Both sides represent football in Hampshire and I would like to see both sides continue the age old battle of number one in Hampshire. They hold that slot atm but hopefully soon we can once again regain our natural position. Let battle commence!
