Granola for me but my distribution was poor.

Not our best performance but that is probably down to West Brom being a strong organised side. It shows how well we have improved when we can more than match the better and even best sides in this league. A big shout to Baz who has improved immensely.

Been a while since last "where are they now (posters)" thread?

Omg, forgot about him, a slightly odd person. -
Perhaps my memory is letting me down, plus I thought we lost. I think QPR had fake turf at the time.
-
Not at all, ran out of puff so stood my ground but by that time a bunch of saints fan came the other way and we welcomed the cavalry and then it all fizzled out.
-
I remember a long long time ago when Keegan was playing for us, after the game at QPR, three of us were trying to get to my car and we were directed by police down this long road and told to hide our colours, Half way down the road we were onset by 30 QPR looking for blood. They caught up with one of our group of three and beat the shit out of him. Sounds like things haven't changed much.

Good win boys, please can you wrap things up earlier in matches as this is not healthy.
-
Good win, was a little nervous when they got a goal back but for once we held our nerve, long may it continue
-
Let's see how long we can hold the lead

Great cross from Armstrong
-
Smallbone treats the ball like an unwanted gift.

Any reason why we water the pitch when we've had shit loads of rain?
-
I take the dog for a quick walk at half time and come back to this. Ironically dog and team both produce shit.
-
I have no problem with our manager applauding the fans whover we are playing, shame I missed it, turned off watching after first half due to crap stream and crap display.
-
How does Rooney do it?, he has done feck all as a manager but still gets work.
-
I've noticed that a lot of the time when passing square the pass often goes behind the player passed to which results in lost momentum which normally ends up in move backward and another square pass or back to the goalkeeper. Positive possession based football can be attacking and exciting but the way we are doing it is risk averse, dull and totally lacking anything apart from keeping possession until one of our ill equipped for this style of play gives possession away.

Like we didn't see that coming. Predictable lethargic boring football and even the bottom clubs can read and cope with it. First half was better but it was obvious it wasn't going to last especially when you remove your only threat. It's very difficult to suffer and watch this shit. -

Predictable shite up front. -
Agreed, a win is a plus but we still looked average and just a bit better than Stoke.

I see the team are back on the tranquillisers again.
-
I must admit that I have been pretty scathing of RM but I did enjoy the passionate way he applauded the fans after the game. A good three points and played well first half but concerned how we deteriorated second half with subs also having little impact.
-
Starting to now look reminiscent of the last four games.
-
Hopefully at least we'll see some sensible football from saints today with a sensible team selection and not the clusterfuck of the last four games.

Forget the press as we are leaving our defence exposed and we are shit at it. Stop the aimless short passes at the back, I would rather see the long game than continually having to witness the defence pass it amongst themselves and getting absolutely nowhere. Once in the final third stay there with forward players making themselves available for a pass rather than playing it back and recycling. Finally, axe A Armstrong, Smallbone, Aribo, Manning, Holgate and put what's left in their strongest possible positions. But, I don't think any of this will happen with our present chancer
