Robbed of a corner.

Oh well, not going to argue lineup as stats don't lie, but initial thoughts are that lineup is a lot weaker and I hope Plymouth aren't being taken lightly.

Charles has taken two for the team mainly for very bad passes.

Saints 4 actual goals vs 0 Blackburn - Match Thread

Good win and should have been a lot more. Alcaraz missed pen was a bit juvenile but then again he is basically a juvenile and the apology was the right response along with the goal. -
We'll I'm saving money on sleeping tablets.

It's not just the question of a striker though, it's the system they are being asked to play.

5 minutes of keep ball and we've barely got over the half way line.

That was a penalty, lucky escape.

Christ surely a pen

That's more like it, attacking football. Good result, had them beat early and could/should of had more. Hopefully this is the new philosophy.

Here lies the problem with our entire front line. The build up is so slow that the opposition have bags of time to organise and cover leaving our front men feeding off scraps and constantly marshalled.
-
Good result but another underwhelming performance. I just wish we would go at these sides and attack straight from kick off instead of this laborious slow build up style which doesn't seem to frighten the opposition at all, in fact imo it does the opposite as it really does not offer much threat at all.

Why try and side foot from there?

He was a bit off.

When anyone asks me how I am feeling I avoid saying that I am feeling a bit blue.

It is probably me in a Monday slump but Dion Dublin is really winding me up with constant words of wisdom.

Is RM being negative when he states “In the second half, the momentum swung and we were too untidy on the ball. Their goal was coming, but we weren’t good enough in that period.". It's not being negative it's being realistic. Yes we could all get carried away on a tidal wave of optimism that we've turned the corner and the league is won but on the other hand some of us choose to enjoy the wins but with caution.

Obviously there is an improvement since that god awful bad run, but we still look vulnerable especially after scoring. I still have this uneasiness when watching us that we are only one stray pass away from conceding and capitulating.
