Did anyone really expect Saints to get something from the home of last season's CL finalists, the team that had already won 5 on the trot in the league and the team who just beat PSG? 3-0 is a relatively respectable scoreline, many teams will leave Anfield having suffered a heavier defeat this season.

Let's be realistic, it was pretty much over before it started.
